Oh your poor neighbour, not the lady, any allegation has to be investigted though, doesn't help him or his family though.
Agree the housing assosciation should not have put her in a block with some single men, but then her allegations may well be all stallion poo.
Hope it gets sorted out soon for all concerned.
Good neighbours are not always easy to find. surprised environmental health don't crack down regarding the smell. that's if they can do anything.

on Friday tge police questioned the woman upstairs, and as a retaliation it seems,,, she rang the social services this morning, and told them that Steve was fired from his job at the prison Svce for abusing and sexually assaulting the women prisoners!! Also telling them that he has been hitting and abusing his kids! His ex wife rang him this morning to tell him she had been contacted by social services and she was in tears, this is when Steve found out! He was so livid he was crying in my front room! Just after I got back from doing that hatch he knocked on my door shaking and crying! He does suffer from high blood pressure and I thought he was gonna pass out! I havnt heard anything else yet ,,, but I fear this is not the last of it! How do you defend yourself against allegations lie that he kept saying! I couldn’t help him but make him a brew and listen! I felt terrible for him!
You must bear in mind that she, the nasty bitch upstairs has just been released from a 3 yr prison sentence herself for grooming a mentally deficient man online from Facebook, going to his flat with 2 men and robbing him of all flat contents and bank cards etc! So she’s a nasty piece of work!!

Glad there's plenty of work at the moment.

Just a shame there's unwelcome drama at the flats. Hope it gets sorted. Perhaps the women causing all the trouble will move on / get evicted, or whatever... :unsure:

Well today was fantastic and then all of a sudden it was my worst day for ages!!!

got all prep done by nine , had all slabs laid by 3, picked up my pointing gun, filled all joints, just waiting for it to go off enough to joint and brush it and the heavens opened!! And did it come down, thunder, lightning, rain as if I was standing under a power shower,, washed all cement from joints and nothing I could do but cover it up and walk away! Gutted,, customers are ok though, very understanding, and I can’t do anymore till I see the extent of the damage tomorrow! If it stops raining! I should have laid the slabs and walked away till tomorrow!! Isn’t hindsight a wonderful thing! Ps, my feet are dyed blue from my soaking wet trainers!

just had a boiling hot shower, and somehow life doesn’t seem too bad,,,, till tomorrow! Bloody typical!

ianthebuilder , remember this, I used the left over bricks to build a barbecue today, no mortar, just stacked them up then cut the bottom off a gas Barby on wheels that they had fell off, and stuck it on top.
The white around the bottom is salt as the brick stack was full of slugs so hoping to get them if they come out.

Good grief that’s the problem with flats you don’t know who will be upstairs etc, I bet you almost miss living in Helga now, you could have just drove away.

Good evening all !!

how the devil are you??
I’m coming to an end of this extension I am building, finished my agreed part of the project a week and a half ago, but customers husband is working away ( coach driver) and I was asked to do more, due to lack of time on his part! Handy really! So start plastering tomorrow, done most of the boarding, just a bit more to do when plumbing in en-suite is completed, should be this Friday, hopefully!! Lots of work coming in, that Chekertrade I joined seems to be ideal for me!! Anyway that’s not why I called!!

I find myself in a position of being ready and able to buy or at least start looking for a van that would be ripe for conversion! I have really missed the open road, emptying cassette, running out of water and gas, dribbling grey waste as I mooch down the motorway! Lololol

so I will have to enter the world of tge self build forum I think, knowing nothing of electrical work, solar, gas etc, should be very interesting!

now, I’m not going to be able to afford a new or even newish van, but I would like a high top, mwb at least, and I’m very tempted to convert it in a stealth style!
No large windows, skylight etc, and even thinking of doing away with solar and getting one or two of these new power packs that I’ve seen online! I will have gas for a hob ( or whatever) and I will not want to out anything outside, underneath etc,, I will need hot water, because I want a nice shower and loo etc,

I won’t need a huge table, dining area, I was thinking more along the lines of putting a large reclining chair in the lounge!
Don’t need a huge bed ( them days are gone) but a 4 ft double would do!
Would like a garage in rear, for some tools etc, in case I get tge chance to work away again!!

so, any suggestions on van type,
Materials for heating, lights etc, lol, shower, I need it all,,,

mom going to see how close to £7,000 I can get, all in ! What do you reckon???

You never know! I’ve wanted to have a go at making a video or two for a while,, I bought a GoPro about three years ago, havnt taken it out of the box yet! Lolol. Crap with tech though, that’s tge drawback! Xx

There is a couple of girls who do van vibe, Louise does a bit about filming and taking pictures etc on a separate channel
 
Should get a reasonable blank canvas van for your money.... may be high milege though...

But...

With your skills it should turn out nice...

How about a minibus much cheaper ATM and better looked after! Not stealth though!

Those battery banks you mention are expensive and they need charging, with no solar you’d have to be on the move all the time to charge them, I think others on here will agree solar and a battery set is best…
 
Can put a roof rack on with sides to hide the solar panel from the view point of a pedestrian .
