Great news - glad everything is now confirmed. Just frustrating having to wait a bit longer than expected...

I'm sure it will all prove worthwhile once you're in and can re-start your life again.

Good morning,,

well it’s getting closer,, one more day and I’m off! It’s lovely of them to let me stay, but I maybe should have gone to a hotel or B@B I do feel like I’m in the way! Lol.

I’m looking forward to my first night in my own place, even though it will be on a blow up bed, in an unfurnished flat! Lol.

going to get the keys in the morning, then I can measure up and go shopping,, I shall see if I can get carpets delivered quickly, if not I shall buy wood floors, I can put them down in a day,, then I shall hang curtains, I was thinking of blinds, I’m unsure yet, till I’ve had a look!!

a washing machine, fridge freezer and cooker are still my priority, and a new kettle! Lol. And of course somewhere to sit, so the garden table idea still sounds good to me!!

I have had a nosey about online and I think I’m happy with the style of furnishings I want, a bit traditional maybe but I like what I’ve got in mind,, I will photo and post as I collect! Lol.

I might commit to painting the odd wall, or I may put some paper up , again I’m not sure, I really like the look of some of this new 4/5 d wallpaper murals type,, I’m impressed with the quality!! If I see something in Norwich I like I may well have a go!!

so, another day of chomping at the bit, and planning,, hopefully my last unproductive day for a while!!

as I was coming back here yesterday, from not getting into the flat, I saw a small sign on the A47 that was advertising small units/ workshops to rent, not ten mins from the flat, so I popped in,,, no one about so I got no info, but there was a few smaller, new looking workshops that were empty, they looked perfect for size, location etc, so I shall go again after I have dropped a load of crap at the flat tomorrow, just to see if there affordable etc,, Might be perfect!!

ok, I hope your well,, not much else to say, I will be busy from tomorrow so we shall have an adventure shopping,, I shall take pics and share my new journey with all ! I’m exited! Xxxxx.
 
Your flat is not on the A47 i would look more heading out towards the coast along that road, because if there is an accident the A47 comes to a stand still.

the council actually were brilliant,, but all they did was put me forwardfor the flat, all the paperwork now and dealings are with the housing association,, and one girl,,, now to be honest, I did shout a bit quickly yesterday,, she actually did do what she said, just took a bit longer,, just my impatience getting the better of me! Lol.

all good now though! Lol. Xx

ivory, I think that the A47 is the only way out of the village? But there is brundall next door, I will investigate when I have time!
The unit is on the A47 but on the Yarmouth bound side, just as the 50 mph restrictions end!
