I Have Some Remoska Questions

The microwave in our van is usually a storage cupboard, but we do like jacket spuds so it has been utilised a few times prior to remoskaing for a nice crispy outside. I love my remoskas, watched a Program about air fryers and said they were just a remoska with a fan, how wrong I was, still use the remoska but am amazed at the things i have done in the air fryer, big bonus is how quickly it heats up so my jacket spuds are now done so much quicker 🤣 wont be taking it in the motorhome as it is too big and power hungry.

I'm very late to this thread. I missed it somehow

I've had Remoskas since Lakeland first sold them. As there's only me now I only use the Standard but still own a Grand. I haven't tried the Tria.

Yes, you can cook from frozen although larger joints I'd defrost first mainly due to cooking time.

You can cook pretty much everything in a Remoska.
Even when my husband was alive the house ovens only got used for family get-togethers at Christmas!
The Remoska took over.

I cut circles of oven liner to line the base. They last ages before needing to be changed.
The little semi circular non-stick insert (sorry, can't remember it's proper name & they may no longer sell them) is very useful when wanting to keep things apart - eg something in sauce
I 'fry' eggs in silicone cupcake cases. Just oil the silicone first to make the egg easier to turn out.

I have a mission set as to if you can cook Beef Wellington in one. Away in Spain over Christmas and when asking my husband what we should eat on Christmas Day he suggested this. Can’t see why not but going to have to have a think re timing and use of foil.

Of course you can cook a Beef Wellington in a Remoska, it's just a smaller version of the oven in your kitchen, I would sear the beef a bit longer before rolling in the pastry and then Pan fry the bottom of the so that the pastry is well crispy when all finished.

HKF - hi Jackie how are you getting on with your remoska now you've had it a few weeks?
