No, all UK sims should work without a vpn, the reason i believe is because they have a UK ip address. That’s interesting. Is it just Tesco that happens with?

A 2 year contract is the cheapest way to get a Tesco mobile sim but 1 year and 30 day contracts are available in store at increased prices if a 2 year contract is not suitable for your specific needs. What does 'Clubcard Price' mean? Can't find any explanation on their website, but only had a quick squint. I have a CC but rarely use it anymore.
In theory, reading the above T's&C's you could get 10 weeks in Europe with no cap or extra charges, 8 weeks of use then 2 weeks after they contact you before adding extra charges. As we can only stay for 12 weeks, if you can get 10 weeks unlimited might be worth considering for anyone needing a new 2 year contract.
I did the same last year in Spain using smarty, I was wondering why some funsters were saying they needed a vpn.You don't need a vpn, I'm in Spain at the moment using a Tesco mobile unlimited sim and I can stream all uk tv services without a vpn.
That's interesting, I was just watching Shakespeare & Hathaway on the iplayer so it's still working for me, the only thing that hasn't worked even with a vpn is the uk lottery app on the phone or online on the tablet.BBC iPlayer didn’t work with my iPad and a U.K. Vodafone SIM last time I tried, which was just before lockdown kicked in. Maybe that was a one off problem?

I'm watching Taboo on Netflix now, a bit more rock and roll I've got a dodgy leg at the moment so I'm supposed to keep it elevated, but i'd rather be out on the bike to be honest. You know how to rock and roll
Glad the Sim is ok and hope the leg is better soon. Although we’re not leaving till May I think I will pop up to Tesco next week and pick up a sim and get it set up. The APN info you sent me back along to use abroad…. Will it work in the uk if I set it up with that to start with?I'm watching Taboo on Netflix now, a bit more rock and roll I've got a dodgy leg at the moment so I'm supposed to keep it elevated, but i'd rather be out on the bike to be honest.
that is because you cannot legally buy a ticket or renew an auto to up from outside the uk. Even if you did manage it when you win they check & recheck & if they spot a possibility it is purchased outside the uk it is refused.the only thing that hasn't worked even with a vpn is the uk lottery app on the phone or online on the tablet.
Yes it will, that's what i did. Thank you for your good wishesGlad the Sim is ok and hope the leg is better soon. Is the Lotto different to the Euro Lottery then, pretty sure you can buy Euro tickets from outside of the Euro countries involved.that is because you cannot legally buy a ticket or renew an auto to up from outside the uk. it used to be you could buy or auto renew then when you won they did the checking & would not pay out.

What device's are you using and were they bought in the UK?, it can't be down to the network or none of our devices would work without a vpn. Also is your device working as a wifi extender or are you connected to a 4g network?IPlayer, Sky etc do not work on my English Three sim or on Dave’s Giffgaff one (O2) without a vpn, mainly because it is using the foreign networks I would guess?!
Yes. the UK lottery (lotto) has to have the ticket purchased in the uk or bought online in the UK.Is the Lotto different to the Euro Lottery then, pretty sure you can buy Euro tickets from outside of the Euro countries involved.
We have iPhones with British sims in them and a British bought TP link. It was only for info, I’ve got a system that works for me.What device's are you using and were they bought in the UK?, it can't be down to the network or none of our devices would work without a vpn. No it will be the same for any UK issued sim card. The difference is that with Tesco there are no roaming charges and a decent "fair usage policy" whereas other UK providers are charging daily per sim card (around £2) and in many cases limiting the data download per month. It's definitely a moving feast at the moment as sim providers jostle for your cash. That’s interesting. Is it just Tesco that happens with?

I used a vpn to renew my lottery while in Thailand, now home maybe I should cancel and renew again, it’s for direct debit.that is because you cannot legally buy a ticket or renew an auto to up from outside the uk. The website doesn't currently show your data usage but if your router app doesn't show it either, you can send Camino an email and she'll let you know.Ok up and running in Spain and great service off Camino but what do I do now, is there a app/website I can log into to track data use etc. Ta
