After 4 days last week, when it was wall to wall sunshine with temperatures hitting 30C, one of my neighbours was complaining.
This morning, with a little bit of drizzle, she's complaining AGAIN!

So much for the weather becoming more extreme it's all nonsense and we're falling over each other for this folly. In a hundred years time our descendents will be fine and thinking how silly we all were.. Mind you they'll be whittling about another dreamt up problem no doubt.

After a hot weekend away in the van, it's cooler and a little more damp today. I still had to water the flowerpots and trough in my garden first thing this morning though. There's not been very much rain. I am back behind my desk so not minding too much! Given how wet it's been for the first half of the year, I was surprised to see how dry and cracked the ground was where I was camping.
After seeing friends in the US posting about their extreme summer temperatures this year, I'd rather have the cooler weather I've got here. I cope with the cool better than I do with soaring temperatures. The mid-twenties of the weekend were perfect and quite hot enough for me!
