How do you check your gas bottle levels?

Its so simple with the Gas-It sensor. No faffing about guessing weighing or having to get the cylinder out of the locker. A quick look on my phone tells me exactly how much gas is left:

Dual gasit/gaslow bottles with auto changeover valve but one bottle turned off. Refillable, no having to swap bottles in the cold/rain and don't worry about running out.
As has been pointed out if you're off EHU and use a 3W fridge it sparks continually whilst the contents thaw out. I just look at the c/o thingy once in a while. If it's red or 50/50 red & green I fill up when I'm passing somewhere that sells the stuff.

Hi newbie here. Why do you need to pretend it's fuel for the van rather than gaslow?
I dont need to, I just have as a sort of belt and braces attitude. There have been a very few reports on here of people being refused because autogas is taxed as road fuel and not for domestic purposes. This actually means you are paying more tax than you need to but if you try to get the tax reduced you will probably be refused so best not to ask, its only pennies anyway.

The dealer/gas fitter is cutting a hole in my gas locker to fit the gaslow inlet valve, apparently its is illegal s in some countries to open your gas locker to fill, anyone know more about this?
Thought you were refusing to accept the motorhome due to many issues with quality.? If so why are having work done on a van you don't have, or have I got myself confused. ?

This was all the additional work we set out with the dealer when I paid the deposit, they will be doing it, nothing has started yet as I didn't want the van for some months and would done 2 week before collection, we don't need it until next July but can't leave it there until then, anyway sorting these other issues out at the moment.

Met s Dutch guy last week who had an app on his phone which told him the gas level in the cylinder by recording the sound when he dinged it with a tent peg!

He is nor going to be a happy bunny when you reject the van, after he has ut the hole for the gas fill, just make sure he doesn't put it in the door.

UPDATE:

I have now received my Morelo gas monitoring system from the USA, THAT WAS QUICK! Bought on Amazon.com (USA) price at checkout includes ALL import duties and delivery, ordered on the evening of the 9th Sept, arrived yesterday the 21st Sept! Cost £72.60 all in and I want to CONFIRM that you get 2 x Sensors included as WELL as the remote level sensor, what impressed me was that the screw for the sensor remote had the head of the screws painted black to match the surround, now THAT is the kind of thing I like!

Here are some pics, any questions please just ask, I have fitted it to my current van to test as I have twin 11kg Gaslow bottles in that, one is empty after France the other almost full ;)

Also note that some people moaned about the rubber spacers they used to give you to raise the cylinder (these are not required on gaslow bottles ;)) anyway these have now been upgraded to aluminium free of charge you used to have to buy these aluminium ones.

Anyway I hope someone else is able to benefit from this great offer, a quick look on ebay shows the ridiculous price they are and get shipped from Germany, I think people don't realise the ones from Amazon.com DO have 2 x sensors AND the display module ;)(y)
