If your coming up the west coast I don’t think Ardrossan to Cambletown is running, but McInroys point - Hunters Quay will be quieter than the Dunoon boat.

The Rest is open via the old military road.

I remember when I was a little kid going up the rest and the coach was thankfull to make the top in a cloud of steam from the radiator, went up in my 6.5 ton Mo-Ho a couple of years ago and I said to the co-pilot, "Have we missed it ?"
