I have 2 'lightening leads' bought from primark, which can be adapted to use on other phones. Cost about a fiver, just need to remember they charge but you can't update your phone using one.

I buy these - you can get various lengths & they last! Haven’t bought an Apple branded lead for several years! Keep lots of these all over house & van!

Why would you just have ONE charger cable?? I’ve just looked in our bus, we have 6 lightning cables, also 1 Apple Watch cable,1 cable for charging BT speaker, 1 cable for Garmin 660 and 1 cable for Garmin 785, blummin cables everywhere

My wife has a plastic storage box 24" x16" x10" full to the brim with every type of lead, adaptor, magnetic ,plug-in.We can get from anything to anything ,anywhere & also with leads up to 3m in length but if that isn't enough we usually have 5m male to female extensions.
this obviously doesn't include the lap top , tablet, note book phone charging devices for which we have mains to device, 12v to device, 9v to 24v dc adjustable ones. hdmi to usb to mini usb to c to D to anything.
#wechargetheworld. If we haven't got it it isn't made.

That sounds like me. (Un)fortunately I don't use an iPhone so don't have any Lightning cables
