I suggest that if ( as it sounds ) you are so scared......... I'd pack my bags and leave her without the phone and clear off....... why is a phone so critical..... there are phone boxes all over Belgium if she needs to contact someone.......... any other reason doesn't hold water !!!!!

Ther are loads of places to get charging cable's in Belgium I bet there's one in iper or poppringe if not menin
Belgium is not exactly a back wood coming out of the grate war.

I know it’s of no immediate help but I’d suggest getting a plug with usb connection for iPhone cable . . . and buy 2 or 3 lightening cables - just in case

I'm with Reallyretired , remove sim from iPhone, deposit said phone in nearest file marked B1n, proceed to shop that sells decent Android phone.

Why would you just have ONE charger cable?? I’ve just looked in our bus, we have 6 lightning cables, also 1 Apple Watch cable,1 cable for charging BT speaker, 1 cable for Garmin 660 and 1 cable for Garmin 785, blummin cables everywhere

I'm guessing you are at the Jeugdstadion, as it is the only proper site in Ieper!!
There aren't any big hypermarkets nearby.

When we use the camp site in Ieper, we always stop off at the Carrefours Hypermarket in Strandlaan 19, 8670 Koksijde, Belgium for wine on the way home. It is probably about 40 minutes away, but maybe combine it with shopping?

Head out onto the road you came in on and then the N8 (northwest out of Ieper). Take the road to Veurne.
Go round Veurne. Enter Koksijde and the Carrefours is on the roundabout where the N8 crosses the N396.

Big motorhome-friendly parking and they DO have a big section on wires and stuff.
