Rally Halloween Rally 28.10.21.to.01.11.21

Just wanted to echo everyone’s comments. We really enjoyed the whole weekend.

Thanks so much to Ray and the team for all the work put in to making it the same brilliant meet under really challenging conditions!

The room looked amazing, and the whole Halloween party was brilliant!

Thanks to my dancing queens, I had already racked up 5500 steps when I got up this morning!

The venue was a fantastic find, and the clubhouse saved the day!

So all in all, another Welsh Triumph!

That's why the power was out.
Just want to give a big thank you to ray who looked like a drowned rat on Thursday after parking everyone up. We won't forget his other helpers they did us proud with the decorations. It was our first Halloween rally and it won't be the last. Also we would like to thank the entertainers for saturday night
The weather could have been kinder to us but that you can't control
Polly and Dave a big thank you.

What a great weekend. Home now. We would like to thank everyone involved. Also to those who were helping us off the mud this morning. We enjoyed the party, the singing, the dancing, the walk, the company, the conversations. What a great bunch of people.

With all the problems getting off the field we did not have the chance to say thank you to Ray Swansea Jack and all his helpers for a wonderful meet. We thoroughly enjoyed it and did not let the atrocious weather stop us having fun. Also thanks to those who joined in to get us off the field and especially Dereck and Mary Emmit. Thanks from both of us

We got home a bit late after finding that the M4 was closed between Junctions 8 and 6. Took some back doubles to miss the worst of it.

Brilliant photo! That reminds me to thank Mousy Dawn for the ‘professional’ level make up (it was too high a standard to be called face painting!) and for my lovely birthday pressie, that will be kept chilled for when we meet in Beni xxx

No, I had a small army of pushers who did the trick, also managed to get John "Chockyboy" off as well so that he could get to see the Villa
Did not get to say goodbye to you all, as Mike said I had to go and see my beloved Aston Villa, loose (AGAIN).
Fantastic organisation by Ray and all of the Welsh hooligans.
Also to all of the funsters who make these meets so much fun.
Until we all meet again, stay safe.
John

Thank you all for a fab weekend our first Halloween meet pity about the weather
Thanks to Ray and the gang they worked really hard for us all.

Lovely trip home in sunshine, despite the weather it didn't stop the fun we all had, what a splendid turnout of Halloween revellers in their fancy dress.
Wonderful venue couldn't fault it, Ray (Swansea jack) do you ever stop, thank you, and all the other people who helped so much to ensure this event a success, too many to name. ♥️

Thanks to Ray and his Welsh wizards for a great Halloween weekend. It was a smashing Halloween bash and good to meet up with spooky funsters again.
Shame about the welsh rain but thanks to Ray again for organising the tractor tow offs .

Bring the new rally’s on Stu.

Safely home after swerving off the M5 to avoid a 15mile jam.

Our thanks to Swansea Jack aka Ray and Co. for all the hard work, siting, dragging us off a very soggy field and all the other stuff which went mostly unnoticed (which is a skill!!!)
Thanks must also go to the Room Decorators for turning the Clubhouse into a place fit to have a Halloween Bash.

On a personal level, could I thank all those Funsters who brought Books, bought books and also donated more than was necessary to take a book away.

We ended up raising £42 which will be winging it's way to Prostate Cancer UK shortly.

Regards

Derek and Mary aka Emmit

A great big thank you for all involved in the organisation of the Halloween bash. Dave and I had a wonderful time. Spent two lovely evenings with John and Sarah (chocky ) and WynandJean. Look forward to seeing you guys at the next one.
Special thanks to Swansea Jack and dabhand for Saturday night- Dave has now added a guitar and a tambourine to his Christmas list.

Thanks to Ray, Stu, all the room decorators and all the helpers, should’ve left the rain in Wales though not your fault, nice to catch up with old acquaintances and chat to new ones, see you all in a field sometime soon.(y)

hi guys just an update of the donations everyone made for th air ambulance ,here is the receipt from air ambulance ,thanks everyone for your support

On behalf of our pilots, medical team and staff at Wales Air Ambulance, I would like to thank you for your donation of £157.00 gratefully received on 13/11/2021. Your support means we are now able to provide life-saving emergency care in Wales 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We are proud to be ‘Serving Wales, Saving Lives’ regardless of the time of day. Lives like Ellie Harris from Caerphilly.

13-month old Ellie was suffering from what seemed to be a normal cold; later that day it soon became apparent that Ellie was far more poorly than was first thought. She started deteriorating quickly with concerning symptoms, including seizures. Ellie’s parents immediately rang 999 and moments later the Wales Air Ambulance Critical Care Crew arrived.

In the short time between the 999 call and the team arriving, Ellie had suffered two cardiac arrests. Dr Dindi Gill said "Ellie was extremely unwell and unconscious on our arrival. We were able to rapidly deliver critical care interventions including anaesthetic, to improve her oxygen levels and take her directly to the specialist care she needed to give her the best chance of survival."

Almost a year on from the ordeal, Ellie is a thriving two-year old with bags of energy. Her father Matt said "Without Wales Air Ambulance, Ellie may not be here today. I cannot begin to thank the medics for everything that they did for our little girl."

Thank you again for supporting Wales Air Ambulance Charity. Your donations are the only way we can provide this service and continue "Serving Wales, Saving Lives".

Yours sincerely,

Capt. James Grenfell

Regional Managing Pilot
