Still waiting to board, all was going well now we have been stopped at the barrier for about half an hour.

Yay we are here, holiday begins, there is only about ten here so we parked on the red shale against another Brit van , no kidding we hadn't parked up more than a minute before he moved as far away as he could get

zI was told last week that Gravlines was a definite nono due the police and immigrants fighting so we bypassed it

The French town caught up in ‘war’ between police and migrants

Grand-Fort-Philippe’s residents spent years living a life largely undisturbed by migrants – until clashes began to erupt

We are in the pmu now with a couple of red wines , it could be anytime in the last 14 years since we first came , the same woman behind the bar treats us like we are her best ever customers, oh it's brilliant.

Purely for information purposes only. The spar shop just round the corner sell cannabis from behind the counter up to the left.
No knowledge of its potency or value for money, but not what I was expecting.

When we were there at the end of August my son woke me up at 2am because he heard noises coming from the gate to the boats...a large group were dropped off in two cars but they gave up when they couldn't get through. Still felt safe enough in our motorhome.
