Grey water disposal filter

Into hedgerows is usually ok but imagine all the vans at a massive rally trying to get their waste water into the ground. Bad enough having to be towed off because of rain without making it worse šŸ˜‰
I agree that at a rally, probably not great because of layout of vans, but most sites/Aires have a hedgerow between and behind van pitches, so more viable (providing folk are sensible about wiping plates/pots of food residue and grease before washing)

At home our coffee grounds always dumped in a flower bed apparently its great for the plants and also discourages slugs.
Possibly an urban myth! My understanding of the science is that they are herbicidal albeit weakly. It is the coffee plants means of killing competing weeds. Eventually (after many years) it can even kill itself šŸ«£

I guess not a suitable way to dispose of a tank full but if the water is released in small quantities at a time (starting with an empty tank) into well draining ground it could be quite inoffensive. I have been parked next to vans and caravans using them an observed no problems

Big bonus is that slugs don't like coffee grounds - it gets my vote for that alone!
