Robert if you don't mind me asking, was this through Boiler Juice, if so I'll do the same tomorrow. I ordered the minimum quantity 500ltrs for delivery May 10th thinking by then I'd have enough room in the tank. The delivery turned up 3 days later and there was only room for 460ltrs.

I don’t know who Robert is but it wasn’t done through boiler juice just a local supplier, Goff

Sorry, 1Ten. thanks anyway.

Our oil tank is almost full, but it would be great if it was possible to 'hedge' at the current price for future consumption.

1ten has done vwell to achieve ordering at today's price for delivery before the end of the year! (y)

Here’s some barrels down our way.
I don’t know them and have no association with them

It’s like when I was 16.
I can afford to buy petrol. I can’t legally buy a drink in a pub.
And, I’m grounded.
Mitch.

Just ordered 500 litres at 18.5p.

I noticed petrol was up from 99p to 101p yesterday, has your heating oil started creeping up again.

Diesel here has bone from82c to 84c at begining of the week & today is 88c. I know the Russians & opec settled there differences so assume production has been cut as increase in use can't be increasing price here?

Increasing demand as lockdown is easing

I've just had to order at .59ppl and I had to haggle for that. I was quoted by Certas .65ppl...outrageous!

The Oil Club this weekend 56.9ppl

Im looking for my Damarts!!:ROFLMAO:

I think that's true of everything else. I was speaking to the joiner working on our roof last week he thinks timber thats risen sharply in price is unlikely to go down again

Isn’t it normal for oil prices to go up as soon as it starts getting cold? I always tell my oil customers to order in the summer when the prices are low.

Interesting graph it looks like the price dropped a lot in the pandemic probably reflecting the big drop in oil use but since went up. The latest increase is a lot sharper and bigger than the normal variation.I set the time period to 4 years rather than the default 9 months.

All fuel is going up, petrol is at its highest price in 9 years.

I will need to order oil next month and expect to pay 60p + per litre. I usually wait until I qualify for a "bulk" discount.

I normally get quotes from four or five suppliers before ordering.

Two said they had no deliveries available! One (Boiler Juice) quoted 65p, in the end I paid about 60p..

Last 500lts I bought at the end of last winter, cost around £200, this time £300 😩

I weep. Just checked the prices here in France: equivalent to 88p per litre 😭 (1.04€ per litre for 1000 litres)
