Good price - Pre-loaded Three sims with unlimited calls, texts & data

Question for the experienced funsters

so my vodaphone sim arrived about an hour ago, i installed it in my older iphone and bingo it works perfectly so great result

Do i simply install it in my Huwaiwe, huwwoowoo, huweege, err! router and just use the same wifi password and everything like I did with the Smarty sim
More or less Al. If your MiFi is unlocked, the sim should work straight away. Before popping it into the MiFi, send yourself a text or make a call, so that you can record the mobile number of the Vodafone sim.
I'm assuming any passwords you used were for the MiFi, and not specific to the Smarty sim.

Download the Huawei App on to your phone, and adjust your MiFi settings from that, instead of having to bring up the dashboard online using 192.168.2.1, (or whatever address you need).

Cheers,

Jock. :)

Minxy thanks for the tip. Decided to go ahead on one of these even though my current deal doesn’t end for a couple of months. Just managed to grab what looks like the last of the latest batch of unlimited vodafone sims! ezikiel also gave me the discount you mentioned so it’s still a great deal.

My 3 data sim arrived this morning from Ezikeil, put in mifi and all working as it should.
It is a bit odd, hand written envelope, greetings card and very little information contained.
Still, if it gives me three years unlimited data for 85 quid (with discount) I'll be well pleased 😄

Update- The buyer is now denying that the Sim was provided by him. I would advise to stay clear.
I have started an ebay dispute with the seller.
If this company is full of wizards I hope every bodies Bank account is still ok, as somebody said if it sounds too good to be true it probably isnt. like my spelling their spelling is not great.

Just popped it in the router Jock and voila, alls working as it should (y)

for info, and this is determined on your position and where the local masks are situated, the 3 Smarty sim had a d/load speed of 13.6mbs whereas the Vodaphone one parked in the same spot on my drive had 38.2mbs so a better result thus far.

All it needs to do now is to work for 36 months and i'm quids in, a lot of quids in, infact 477 quids in and double the data when abroad :clap2:

Al

They have now sent me a replacement sim so fair play to them in the end.

I ordered the 3 sim unlimited everything for £150 for 3 years has 5g and the binge stuff ..they have gone up to 200 like vodaphone but once I said motorhome fun he dropped it to 150 also told him minxy told us about him so I hope she gets a commission.

They were 90 quid when I ordered mine on Saturday (3 network) less 5% discount (y)

And the Vodafone sim was only £115.00 minus the 5% discount.
When I enquired about the £200 sim cards being number portable, I got the same answer as previous, ie, no, so although the price has gone up, they are not the newer sim cards he is referring to, and no number portability. :(

Cheers,

Jock. :)

Well you know the old saying you can't be ripped off if your happy with the deal. Has yours performed OK?

He told me yesterday in an email (only saw it this morning) that he's now giving funsters a 25% discount if they mention my name, obviously I don't get that! :giggle:

I didn't either. :(

The higher discount is only on the higher priced sims, not what you paid.
If they were number portable though Mel, I would have had one of those by now.

Can you ask him about the Vodafone sims being number portable please, to see if you get the same answer?

Cheers,

Jock. :)

I’ll be looking for another 2 soon but could do with one at least portable and better both.

So far though we come up north near Ditcha (r u in lol) and it’s working perfectly, full bars showing on the router and perfect streaming 👍

Hopefully he will be doing a deal in October when current contract ends

That's a shame

Is this the sim people are buying , so it works out at £67.5 per year?
Are there any catches, know about 12gb roaming, I would be using it in a router.
Cheers

Arrived in France yesterday. Bought a 'Free' sim for the MiFi at Auchan. 210Gb for €29 (€19 per month) Can use up to 25Gb back in UK (if there's any left!)

Is it easy to cancel or put on hold for the months not using the Free Sim ?
When you buy the sim card (€10) you can chose to pay on a contract then you have cancel by registered post. Alternatively do as did and you have, I think, to refresh before 6 months or it 'dies.

I didn’t either - but I did get the 5%.

JockandRita - can’t you just transfer the number yourself using the standard Vodafone texts?

I didn't know you coul do that Chris. :whatthe: If you (or anyone else also on the Vodafone sim), are successful with that, I'd be pleased to know. (y)

Cheers,

Jock. :)

If this is the Vodafone unlimited 3 year SIM from eBay seller Ezekiel, I seem to recall that somewhere it was stated that it was not possible to transfer phone numbers.

This relates to the original batch of £90 cards which was what I purchased in February and then again in April.

Yes, that was the info I received by email from the seller, with the forthcoming but dearer sims being number portable.

Cheers,

Jock. :)

I've had a message to say that today is the last day to get a 25% discount for funsters, afterwards it will revert to 5%.

Just to make you aware that the Three sim which I finally bought (more expensive than the original ones :crying:) had voicemail and call divert activated so I messaged the seller and he's disabled them for me.

Well wish this was about last August I’m but throat tied into a 24 month £21 a month contract.

If this is about in 14 months I’ll defo get one, shame you couldn't buy one now, not activate it until when you need it.

Ok Minxy, I am in my phone contract (sim only) for about another 16 months so if you would be so kind as to advise,
do all the sims work in a mifi,
can they also be used in a phone
Which is best for uk and abroad (longest roaming, ease of use, less restrictions etc)
Any other considerations

Sorry but I’ve been meaning to buy since my last posting but I seem to have become very indecisive in my old age, I will buy one today, for mifi in first instance and start streaming in my van

Help and advice ( make the decision for me) much appreciated
Cheers Simon
