There is nothing to worry about ( well apart from this crazy scary government!)Missed you too - so much. Bet you are pleased you were so correct in your assumptions regarding the pandemic that it was nothing to worry about - keep it up you sooth- sayer!
Had the RAC out on Sunday & Monday no issues that was in Austria .Having discussed the matter with my insurers NFU, and reading the same discussion matter from others, it's only travel insurance that may be null and void, should you travel against the FCO's advice for particular countries.
The only concern re motor vehicle insurance, was that due to Covid measures in some countries, any breakdown or recovery assistance may be greatly affected.
HTH,
Jock.
Head straight to Spain then bomb back to Germany for the last two weeks of your trip and no need to Q14 when home!Off to Germany today for 4 weeks, 'er indoors is adamant she does not want to quarantine when we get back so I am going to have to flipping freeze.
Having to pack winter clothes, it's so not right.
Just what I was thinking, Bugger being coldHead straight to Spain then bomb back to Germany for the last two weeks of your trip and no need to Q14 when home!
We have to be in Belgium for Tuesday so not worth the effort it would probably take us nearly a week to get the warm bit of Spain. If we see anything interesting on the way we just have to stop.Head straight to Spain then bomb back to Germany for the last two weeks of your trip and no need to Q14 when home!
That's a shame. In Rothenburg ODT now and it is rammed on Parking no2. Never seen so many cables running back and forth over the roads. Doubt if Belgium will be as busy though! We have to be in Belgium for Tuesday so not worth the effort it would probably take us nearly a week to get the warm bit of Spain. Edited................ Ah, too late, but I'm wrong anyway.
Cheers,
Jock.
Is spot the dog not a competition then, I was enjoying that. Why all this petty arguing over numbers, .....its not a competition folks..
I'm not very techy when it comes to editing photos, (as my efforts will confirm ) however, the person is on the left with the dog behind, and slightly to their right........................as indicated. What person sat down---Where is he? or her?

I'm in the Auvergne 136km north of Montpellier and it is grey and raining. Same weather a little more north for the last couple of days. It was sunny until then.It depends on the weather and where you want to be in Spain.
I tend to use tonka's Western route going down, (Dec/Jan), and the Eastern route coming back, (Mar/Apr).
At this time of year, the Eastern route down to Montpellier and beyond should be good weather wise. We prefer to avoid French tolls routes where possible. Both are available in resources.
Cheers,
Jock.
always go to the hypomarket at bossost when we visit friends who live an hour away in france. then on yo viella for wine and tapas. enjoyDrove in and out of Spain last week in the van. Stayed for a few days in Sort for some Motorcycle riding on the trails. Crossed over at Bossóst near Viella. No problems at all, no one at the border as usual, so all normall.
I tried to complete the form but gave up as could not proceed without a flight number.
We are planing another trip to Spain / Portugal in the next week or so, unless something changes.

There is an article about it here but it doesn't give much detailI've read on Facebook, that the Andalucian government is trying to stimulate tourism this winter by providing full cover for Covid incidents for foreigners, from 1st January 2021. The cover allegedly includes full treatment if tourists contract the disease, repatriation costs and any costs arising from having to isolate.
Does anybody know whether this is true?
You are not understanding correctly, as that is not what I posted. Please feel free to read my post again.so, am I understanding this correctly, you are travelling without health insurance and do not know if you will get help should your van break down?
