Gareth & Phil have fun in Spain 2025.

I'm not going to take it personally.

We loved Malaga, it’s a long walk from the harbour up to the Castle so carry a bottle of water! Guess who didn’t? We were there in June one year, the first visit. I think it was a pre van holiday so we’d flown. One of our first without children. We’d just assumed we would pass a cafe en route. We thought we were going to collapse by the top. Talk about Mad dogs and Englishmen. We were a lot younger then as well.

Caught out by that thick sea mist when we started that made it quite chilly haha.

We stayed at the Malaga Aire in December, pitch was a bit cramped although still enough room to sit outside, if you’re lucky enough to get a beach front pitch I’d pay the extra couple of euros. It’s ideally placed for visiting Malaga and the other towns near by and has a nice beach just a few hundred metres away.

Seconded.

I would second that. We had a short Airbnb break there a few years ago. Lots of stuff to see such as the Alcazaba and castle and museums including a Picasso one. Great food, great vibe and beaches if the weather is good enough. We had a cracking lunch at this place.

That looks very much like our favourite 'find' of our last trip.
