Quite expensive for a toy that you can only use on private land in this country unless you make it road legal.Quality!
And now e-scooters are banned as well. Well done Paris is what I say. It is the so called start-ups that are banned, littering the streets with their get rich quick schemes.Only e rental scooters
Private eScooters are still legal in France and are very common. And there's still all flavours of eBikes too. Paris is working towards a really good active travel network by actively reducing car road space. They've banned cars from loads of streets. Long way to go before they can compete with Dutch cities, but they're changing fast. And now e-scooters are banned as well. Well done Paris is what I say. Legal private ownership is the way to go, the "Boris Bike (and scooter)" type schemes seem to just seem to create other problems. Last time I was in Paris there were scooters literally scattered all over the place. The pilot scheme currently running in Southampton is the plaything of the local youths who wasted no time in hacking the security to provide them with nifty get away vehicles for various anti-social behaviours.Private eScooters are still legal in France and are very common. Rob & Lynn did one a few weeks ago which they admitted was illegal in this country but still said they would have one.
He even demonstrated it on the public highway and showed him riding in excess of 30mph. Turning corners without signalling etc. . Speeding round the campsite they were on.
Totally irresponsible idiots.
You tube is stuffed full of crap videos, bad advice, boring travelogs, unboxing vids, and reviews by idiots, .. who wants to watch someone open a box
Worst of all are the so called "hacks" whatever that is.. oh please save me from these morons ..
There are no doubt some excellent instructive videos .. and plenty of good music vids, but wading though the shit to find that pearl takes too long..
Well well well .
using the link he provided in the YouTube description in his video I managed to find the supplier of the bike .
Firstly he over paid on eBay .The bike is available for £780 delivered direct from the supplier .

It couldn’t be ridden as a moped as top speed is in excess of the speed limit for mopeds which is 45kph or 27.96 mph

as I said....It's not that bad.

Hire bikes and scooters are really useful. I can get a train or bus somewhere, and then grab a hire bike to get me the last couple of miles. Usually faster and cheaper than a taxi. Or if I'm going to meet friends for a meal, I'll use a hire instead of my own bike because I don't have to worry about theft. The hire schemes here in Birmingham have gone completely docked for both bikes and eScooters. It's inconvenient trying to find a dock at the other end sometimes, but I guess it's a compromise worth having.Legal private ownership is the way to go, the "Boris Bike (and scooter)" type schemes seem to just seem to create other problems.
