Gadget Johns new ebike

Hasn’t anyone heard of watch something else if you don’t like the video you started watching…🤷🏼‍♂️

I consider myself a law abiding person but I’ve broken the speed limit many many times….😎

Only e rental scooters
And now e-scooters are banned as well. Well done Paris is what I say. It is the so called start-ups that are banned, littering the streets with their get rich quick schemes.

Private eScooters are still legal in France and are very common. And there's still all flavours of eBikes too. Paris is working towards a really good active travel network by actively reducing car road space. They've banned cars from loads of streets. Long way to go before they can compete with Dutch cities, but they're changing fast.

Legal private ownership is the way to go, the "Boris Bike (and scooter)" type schemes seem to just seem to create other problems. Last time I was in Paris there were scooters literally scattered all over the place. The pilot scheme currently running in Southampton is the plaything of the local youths who wasted no time in hacking the security to provide them with nifty get away vehicles for various anti-social behaviours.

Rob & Lynn did one a few weeks ago which they admitted was illegal in this country but still said they would have one.

He even demonstrated it on the public highway and showed him riding in excess of 30mph. Turning corners without signalling etc. . Speeding round the campsite they were on.
Totally irresponsible idiots.

Nearly got knocked over a few times in pedestrain areas of towns in Italy last year. They are all over the place and being reiden very dangerously.

You tube is stuffed full of crap videos, bad advice, boring travelogs, unboxing vids, and reviews by idiots, .. who wants to watch someone open a box

Worst of all are the so called "hacks" whatever that is.. oh please save me from these morons ..

There are no doubt some excellent instructive videos .. and plenty of good music vids, but wading though the shit to find that pearl takes too long..

It's not that bad. I follow quite a few, what I think are knowledgable, sensible and entertaining YouTubers. Canal, boats, Catamarans, Motorhomers, Crashed Supercar Car rebuilders, Music, etc Once you find something you like you tube recommends others. If you like them subscribe. Job done. It's making mainstream TV documentaries like 'Million Dollar Motorhomes' etc seem quite poor.

Well well well .
using the link he provided in the YouTube description in his video I managed to find the supplier of the bike 😀.
Firstly he over paid on eBay .The bike is available for £780 delivered direct from the supplier .

I'm amazed how cheap these are. you cannot get a decent 'normal' legal electric bike for under £1200. Even at that price they are quite 'cheap' un quality.

It couldn’t be ridden as a moped as top speed is in excess of the speed limit for mopeds which is 45kph or 27.96 mph

My legal electric moped (Lexmoto) is very easy to un limit. - and to be honest needs to be of you go out of a 30 mph zone. Very unsafe on more main roads at 30 mph.

The Paris ban is only about the hire ones. I think it's more about the 'littering' of the streets/pavements with the hire scooters. They will still have riding problems caused by privately owned ones.

Hire bikes and scooters are really useful. I can get a train or bus somewhere, and then grab a hire bike to get me the last couple of miles. Usually faster and cheaper than a taxi. Or if I'm going to meet friends for a meal, I'll use a hire instead of my own bike because I don't have to worry about theft. The hire schemes here in Birmingham have gone completely docked for both bikes and eScooters. It's inconvenient trying to find a dock at the other end sometimes, but I guess it's a compromise worth having.

Does this GJ ride an ebike? 'Cos I haven't seen him anywhere near here?
