enough to know i shouldnt touch things i know nothing about ....
well, after almost a year of him telling us how good his Mi Rider is and encouraging everyone to buy one, inc appearing at shows/exhibitions. he has now bought a totally different bike ........

who would have believed he would butterfly from one thing to another .......???

i actually enjoy some of his (mis)adventures but it just shows how fickle some people are, even when promoting products ....

The bike he now has looks not far short of a motor bike and actually looks alright in my opinion, especially for off roading!

I watched the travel trolls using an air fryer the other day, I thought I had put on qvc shopping chanel by mistake....

Total sell out . Doesn’t surprise me at all . This is after all , a man who tried to say there won’t be any Calor or LPG available as of next year 😂😂.
GJ will never change . Just avoid watching his inane videos.
It will be funny if he gets stopped on a public road by the police . It doesn’t matter if the bike is Uk restricted . The max motor size is 250w on Uk roads and needs to be clearly printed and on the hub and visible if checked .

I doubt he bought it 🤔

he did say he bought it with his own money ,was 840 ,offered 800 and 2 days later it was delivered.
Must say it's probably cheaper than buying new batteries etc for an e bike.

Another example of E Bike "Fake Peddling" only peddle when passing a crowd.:giggle: (my misses was expert at that):giggle::cool:
He still looks like an oversized dick on a bike, perhaps not quite as bad as he did on The Mi-rider, another freebie which I hope he had the decency to return.
I wonder how long before Mandy gets one? no doubt she will feel left out.
After that trek out on the bike, Whats for tea tonight?, Bet you its burgers with cheese & chips, "hold the salad & veg":giggle:

Cannot wait until GJ gets nominated for inclusion in the New year's honours listing..."Services to the Motorhoming and Leisure industry" We shall all be eating our words then....Well I fecking won't be..
Wonder if Jim can give him a honorary trip to Coventry..or make him a member of the Society of Missinformation...😂😂😂😂😂

I bought one a few months ago from EBay. To be fair it was excellent to ride with a long battery range. However it was very heavy so I sold it. Got a message from EBay two weeks ago saying it had to be registered to be used on a public road. So it appears that the ministry is now beginning to clamp down.

I checked the specs and couldn’t find the weight of the bike . Looks about 25-30kgs

He says in the vid its 33kg, 72lb in old money.

He did state that for the twist throttle to be connected it cannot be legally used on UK roads only private off road scenarios. But he didnt mention the fact that anything over 250 watts cannot be used legally, thats why we see the police chasing teenagers on high powered illegal E Scooters as they can achieve much higher speeds that the legal (power assisted)14MPH.
Our e bikes are foldable 250 watt rear hub motors, have twist throttles as they were bought just before the throttle legislation came into effect, however they are powerful enough to get up most hills, and the power assist is regulated to 14MPH, which we find is fast enough, especially running on normal sized 21" wheels.
The batteries are 16amp hour, so large and heavy but have a longer range of 60 miles plus, but never had a trip on them that long as I especially have a soft bum.
Overall weight I think is 25/26KG, so not that lite, much better to take batteries out before folding up & loading away in the van.

Total misinformation and garbage from what appears to be an arrogant person. I unsubscribed from his terrible videos which seem to be more about ‘how not to do it’.

Agreed . He’s totally clueless.
The bike cannot be used on UK roads regardless of having a throttle or not, because it’s got a 750w motor .
The following is from the .Gov website .

What counts as an EAPC

An EAPC must have pedals that can be used to propel it.

It must show either:

  • the power output
  • the manufacturer of the motor
It must also show either:

  • the battery’s voltage
  • the maximum speed of the bike
Its electric motor:

  • must have a maximum power output of 250 watts
  • should not be able to propel the bike when it’s travelling more than 15.5mph

As said along time ago by Lenny HB . Only watch this guy when you want to know how NOT to do something 😂

If you want to watch his videos, do it on a tv via something like a Firestick and then that doesn’t register as a view for him to get credit.

Also use GJ when referring to him on this forum . Let’s not give this clown any extra publicity.

Rob & Lynn did one a few weeks ago which they admitted was illegal in this country but still said they would have one.

He even demonstrated it on the public highway and showed him riding in excess of 30mph. Turning corners without signalling etc. . Speeding round the campsite they were on.
Totally irresponsible idiots.

Nice . Have you got a link ? People like this will ruin the e-bike hobby.

Sorry don’t have. Go onto their YouTube channel (Rob and Lynn on Tour) and it should be on there from 2or3 weeks ago.

Just seen it . They are very proud of the fact the bike can do 30mph on a main road with a 500w motor which is absolutely illegal.
He seems like an absolute idiot. Please don’t put me through this again 😂
