Thanks Debs and Rob, I have been driving under the section 88 rules apart from when insurance stopped me but I would not be able to drive over the pond on those rules, van is on the drive and heading out Monday for a few days,

Thread I saw yesterday (can't find it now though) said eu rules may change to 4250. If that happens then section 88 may be useful to drive to port and new eu rules kick in to carry on into Europe?
