No, our location is absolutely wonderful, utterly beautiful, a diamond. It's just the rest of the country. There's only one negative and it's all the military training. It is the Ukrainians, and they will need to train a lot harder after that car crash meeting today. Somebody should have briefed Zelensky better, he had no idea how to handle the ignorant orange monkey with the massive personality defects. After all the required ego-stroking work put in by Macron and Starmer as well. Such a shame for that country, I think the poor Ukrainians have had it now.

We are enroute to our new place in the filthy third world country we have bought in. Will arrive tonight. The roads are chronic, overcrowded, worn out, jams everywhere, some of the worst driving I've seen since Egypt, breakdowns and burst tyres everywhere do to all the pot holes, and the litter is absolutely disgusting. The locals must just be animals. We haven't seen anything like this for years.

OK once arrived I will take some pics in daylight before we unload the ducati. It's a huge drive, from starting early this morning it going to end up being a 14hr day but the big roads have been very very bad today.

The wish list was:
Can only hear birds - no roads
High tourist potential
5 acres min
large hangar/barn for my 'man cave'
(or large double garage as a min)
large characterful house
potential for glamping
potential for camping for motorhomes

This was my dream from the outset - a glamping site and an aire de camping car site.

indoor swimming pool complex and Spa/gym
elevated beautiful location with views
possible to get all the permissions (not inside a parc nationales/national park)
large south facing roof or a windy field for renewables (it's my thing)
tree lined driveway

and ideally a boating lake....

And I dreamed about buying it all cheap. I thought there might be a chance to find something with the post pandemic economic downturn. Dreamed and dreamed and dreamed.

Tomorrow or day after pics will be uploaded as requested, weather and time permitting.

Aye, the very definition of a backhanded compliment. But Jim has been doing it for years and has seen all sorts. Plus he has had to switch my thread on and off at my request when eagle eyed members ID'd stuff I was still negotiating on by using online tools to find the location from a photo and then posted the location online. Then there was there earlier time when I had to switch off the thread when a negotiation was affected by someone IDing another undisclosed site and informing the UK C&MC who subsequently contacted the owner. In the end that meant nothing to the collapse of the deal but I was certainly a bit slow to learn not to share too much when it happened again. What a thicko I am.

There's the answer to all those noisily complaining that I am slow to share the location or post photos..
