Popped into my friendly garage today where I get any work/mot done that I can’t do as I want to get a few things sorted for my long winter trip.

Ask a price for…

Full service, oil and filters quoted 9ltr so might be cheeper for less oil
Brake fluid change and check all 4 corners
Belt change (aux belts as I’ve got a chain) 2 off aux belt and aircon belt

And a general check over

Comes to £508.35

I think that’s not too bad do you…?

There the only ones I trust to work on my vehicles (and that’s saying something but I am wandering around watching them and it gives me a good time to have a look underneath…

Wow I would say it’s a lot better value than paying over a grand for a cambelt.

Included new coolant, auxiliary belts, cambelt and pump. Using genuine Fiat parts which came to £500 alone.

Just the belt would have been much cheaper.

Getting mine done next month at Reliance in Chichester. Cant remember what the estimate was, but didn't really have a choice as the only other place near me said they couldn't do the job as when they put my reg into their system no vehicle details came back !!! This is a well respected...

Seems about right, I’m having mine done end of July. It’s full service plus comfortmatic oil and relearn done for £480 including vat, that’s from a mobile guy who is a fiat master technician and specialises on Motorhome’s, he has very good reviews and feedback so hopefully all goes well.

Compared to Fiat professional this is very cheap, you would not get a full service with cambelt and break fluid done for that price, not even close.

I was due to have that done today at the dealership, it was to be £230 but two weeks ago received an email saying they've gone into liquidation. So I booked a mobile caravan/ motorhome engineer to come to the house next month £150. Not only have I saved £80 on the checks but also over £40 in diesel

This service takes Approx 3 hours and Includes:
Engine oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter and pollen filter replacement, brake fluid change, clutch fluid change and relearn procedure (applies to comfortmatic models), enhanced vehicle check over, including removal of all wheels, inspection, clean-up/greasing of front and rear brakes and hubs, axle greasing and inspection of suspension components, check of steering components, tyres, lights, chassis and leisure battery health checks, vehicle diagnostic health check and report, and lubrication of all door and habitation locks and hinges etc.
