Fuel shortage

Can’t help but think that it’s all being organised by someone with a bit more political interest then the environment

As they (the ‘protesters’) know where the depots are, I assume the police do too…..? Is it not too much to suggest that a couple of officers be at each site to deter the ER plonkers…?:mad:

I would have thought the spokespersons and the organisers would never be on one of the protests Themselves
just in case it’s an inconvenience being in prison and the law courts.

the protesters are just the sacrificial sheep. Just Stupid people .

All the Tesco stores we tried this past few days were all out of fuel. Managed to top up the camper tank at Sainsbury in Newbury on the way home from Cirencester.

The police don’t move them, but you go and sit in the road outside a police station (if you can find one) and I’ll bet you’ll be shifted pronto

As an aside, did you stay at Cirencester Park C&MC site?

Sometimes you have to know your audience. Even a lefty remoaner like me shudders at the stupidity of protesting at oil refineries at the moment.

Indeed, it is because of the protesters at oil depots who have stopped or delayed the deliveries getting out.

Just stop oil, IC engines are being phased out, they have stopped it…….

Don't use the fuel and use an electric bike.
Support the Green agenda which will bit even harder as time goes on.
Then any stoppage is pointless, no point in moaning do something positive.
It could be you or me protesting shortly, Stagflation and potential hyperinflation might bring us out!
Not to worry our front bench are so wealthy it seems they are unlikely to be impacted, whatever the causes that could affect you and me.
I am on strike no fuel consumption strike.

Nope! Read and re- read several times and still haven't got a clue what your point is.

They have also been blocking some garage forecourts...

Just as well they weren’t stood in front of my Shogun as I swung into Morrison’s to fill up tonight.

Don’t think I’d need to select 4WD and Low Ratio 😉😂

Well we won’t see you any time soon then but I respect your decision to stay at home with your Motorhome 👍

Just been to sainsburys to fill the car with petrol and noticed petrol per ltr. £ 1.64. Diesal. £1.75 per ltr

half the pumps are shut off.
so for £ 60 worth of petrol. 33 nectar point that means near on half is. Vat and the rest is tax.

and the attendant said it’s going to rise again with the next tanker refill.

Dont even bother looking at the price, local to me we have a Costco, asda, a shell and a bp within a mile.....today only the bp had diesel....I topped up the partners car
We are a diesel car family, 2 cars my van and a discovery money pit , we have access to red but try not to do it.

Filled up the mh at Morrisons today. Its a bit cheaper at Asda but further away so probably not worthwhile as traffic dreadful locally today. Sunny day, weekend and school holibobs.
Will look for unleaded for the toad tomorrow.

I don't think I can say what I think about the blithering idiots who are blocking the fuel depots, I may be charged with exiting violence.
If I was close them stuck across the road, I was wondering if I had an accident with my cassette just up hill of the demo.

I do hope I don’t come across any of these type of fools! As I think I will be the one being prosecuted 😂

No problems around Whitby this weekend AND diesel at £170.9 at a Shell garage, not even a queue for it !

These protesters who glue themselves to the road outside the refineries, should be shot then hung drawn and quartered.

Back in the Cold War the Communists called them useful fools.

I feel sorry for those that see everything that is happening now a a capitalist conspiracy to keep down the working class. It is more that the great dictatorships of Russia and China have taken note of how Covid has hit the Western democracies, how, with Afghanistan, and before that Vietnam and the first Gulf War the West has no appetite to be tough. They can see how countries in the EU wring their hands about Ukraine but have still paid Russia £29 billion for energy even since the invasion because they are too scared of the green lobby to try to produce their own fuel.

We can only hope that Russia and China fall out with each other and fight each other.
