- I am a newbie
Thanks for that advice. Part of my dilema is that we have an American RV 33 foot long, 12.3 foot high and 10 foot wide-so getting onto the smaller roads is not always a good option-could be low bridges/cables and restriction of 7.5 tons and we are 8.1-so that is why we were looking at Aires close to the big roads-we don't want to get stuck somewhere!!DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES stay overnight on autoroute/motorway "aires" in France, it's asking for trouble, get off the motorway and use the proper little wires in the villages and small towns, hopefully you're not in a hurry so enjoy the quiet D & N roads and the pretty towns and villages, use the available Apps, e.g. park4night , searchforsites, there are others but those two alone will probably be all you need. Don't be put off by making a newbie mistake, you'll soon get your confidence back, safe travels. Gwyntaxi
