Fogstar Drift - Shutting down due to high temp.?

Yes.
Both my batteries negative wires went to my shunt with all negatives then taken from the shunt.
Both batteries positives went to a bus bar with all positives taken from that.
All battery cables the same length, rating and make.
That's that theory done for!

In our workshop we connect four batteries in parallel without any problems.
In our case they all use JK BMS
But the cells are different makes, capacity and quality. We’ve done this deliberately- and so far no problems.
So …. It can be done (LiFePO4 in parallel).

I have three 100amp lithium’s in parallel imported by me which work perfectly. All have their own BMS with an app. I think sometimes people read too much into what’s going on with the batteries. I recommend stop looking at the app so often!

Shift you have a shunt do you tell that you have 300a battery?

Unfortunately I'm still having issues, the battery had an initial OTD Over Temperature Discharge fault which led to it shutting any output down. Fogstar picked the battery up, the courier didn't turn up for the first pickup slot. Now it is registering UTC Under Temperature Charging so it is shitting down the charging. Same cell same issue but this time the inverse of the first issue. I've messaged fogstar to say fix or replace. If they fix it or replace it and I experience one more issue then I won't use fogstar products and cannot recommend them to anyone of course. It's a shame because absolutely everything about the product is a positive, blue tooth and great app etc. but right now it's kinda crap. damn shame.

Sit. Rep. boring I know he he.

I returned the battery and am getting a refund, the suggested fixes didn't work and their replacmenet would arrive May 30th at the earliest. So I have drawn a line under it and have bought a 200ah from Renogy which is pretty annoying because you then have to buy a bunch of monitoring crap to go with it. That's what I liked about Fogstar. I reached out to Offgrid Power Solutions but they were also the same as Fogstar May 30th earliest delivery. I really wanted Fogstar to be successful but not for me sadly.

Perhaps you are better off buying some “monitoring crap” and having a battery with a more straightforward BMS and not so much complicated internal gubbins to go wrong.
