First pictures of 2022 Ducato/Boxer/Relay-what to expect?

Sprinter everyday of the week, apart from when I will be in my Ducato based motorhome 😂

Redesigned and brought up to current emissions standards but is there any change to the build standards.
As much as am in favour of Transits I think given the choice it would be a Sprinter or a Crafter.

Yes the new Ducato will get a new dashboard. If you look at the pictures you see a cover to hide the new dashboard from prying eyes. With FCA (Fiat Chrysler) having been bought by PSA to form Stellantis, the Opel/Vauxhall Movano, currently built in France by Renault, will join the Ducato/Boxer/Relay platform. The Movano will be built in Poland with an annual capacity of 100.000 units. A start of production in May has been mooted but nothing official yet.

It still looks like the same shit van with the same silly 2000kg rear axle limit, but as I have said before, I had no option but to purchase one as my bank balance won't stretch to the 20k plus premium for a sprinter

The previous post from C33JAY shows a bit of fun someone had three years ago photoshopping the front end of a Brazilian Fiat Toro to the Ducato. The video can easily be found on youtube.
Fiat are no longer accepting factory orders for the current Ducato (except the E-Ducato) and are redirecting enquiries to dealer stocks.
The facelifted Ducato will have Euro 6-Final engines. First deliveries are expected for late Summer.
More to the point, a picture of the new dashboard has been leaked online. I am not attaching any links as Fiat will have a schedule for the official release of the new Ducato and I want to respect the work done by the engineering team at Opel Rüsselsheim who have been in charge of the project. The pictures of the red slightly disguised model you have all seen purport to a facelift of the outside but the dashboard is a much bigger step forward. All I'll say is that I love the new interior and aftermarket infotainment systems manufacturers will not like it!
A new factory is being built in Poland for the production of the Peugeot/Citroën/Vauxhall/Opel versions. The factory is actually a extension of the old Opel Astra plant. Astra production is being relocated to Rüsselsheim. Capacity in Gliwice will be 100.000 units per year.
I have read that a completely new Ducato (not another facelift) is being planned for 2024.

surely the heavy and maxi chassis have more than 2000kg axles they go up to over 4 tonnes

Looks an ugly ducking - up there with the sprinter front end and dash!

My money would be on the latest crafter tbh.

Its just like the old one but with a new grill and a mobile phone dock.....and the toasty holder

There are rumours that the 2.3 Iveco engine is being retired and Fiats will get the 2.0 PSA (Peugeot) engine. I'm not sure where that leaves them on the auto box though.

Get Ed China in…..he’ll sort it. (y)

No doubt they'll still be building them with all the problems customers faced in the previous 10 plus years. Maybe they have listened to end users but I doubt it.
