Finally Heading off to Spain

Hope you have taken your bucket and spade for all that sand blowing over from the sahara. (y)

So got the Dogs Passport’s at La Zenia and moved just down to camping Mar Menor, but the sand storm’s blowing in so hunker down for a few days.

Scrap that week I talked about, there’s nothing here, if it’s wet and windy nothing to do at all, everyone sat in their vans watching winter sports on TV. There is a restaurant on site which we tried last night, 3 courses and a bottle of wine, it was very nice at €68. But that’s it now, we’ve done it all. It’s a site for sun worshippers I think, I can see when the suns out the Germans will just be sprawled out all over the place. Jim that bucket and spade set you recommended would not be much use on the beach here, you’d need a jack hammer just to break through the first lear of compacted mud to be able to get to anything soft and that would be soft sludge. Ah well Benidorm here we come. 🎶🧑🏼‍🦽🤷🏼🍻🍹🍷🍷🥂

Sorry to hear that ,the 68 € could have kept you fed for a week in Beni.
But at least you tried the place, shame about the sand blowing over but that will stop soon.
Have a safe journey wherever you end up, (y)

All parked up on Arena Blanca now, it was raining sludge on the way up here, never seen sludgy rain before, van is filthy.
