Fiat Comfort Matic Specialist wanted

As my post says Im looking for a Comfortmatic gearbox specialist that deals with these issues all day everyday

Prepaid to travel for the right guy although Im based Milton Keynes

Must be an independent that knows his stuff

Not interested in Fiat Professional set up

Who do you know that's good

They have, there is a Chrysler automatic box in all the new Fiats.

And mine seems to work well

Ours had done 47,000 miles with out any issues. Suppose it’s the luck of the draw!

Long way to go for you when you have Sherwood Truck and Van around the corner who are excellent.

You mean them at Mansfield who never return my calls or answer my emails

Just spoke to Guest Truck and Van , Thetford, Norfolk, I spoke to young lady who said when asked are you Technical she said no, I asked her politely to ask a qualified person ,she spoke to Service Manager who said they had done several, BUT?!! he said all depends what's wrong with it, I have never used them.

I don't know about the Fiat but I converted a 7.5 Ton Iveco panel van ,similar to Comfortmatic, when I looked under dash the clutch pedal shaft was there, fitted pedal,clutch cable, hardest part was fitting a clutch release bearing fork without taking gearbox out, then I put a notice in vehicle saying this is now a manual gearbox , cheap as chips on that vehicle, I suggest you do your homework and find out definitely if it can be done.I was told once that Camper UK , Lincoln were good on Comfortmatic.

When Brewery sold it I bought it, for moving house,then for clearing garden , it was a massive panel vanel , the I sold it for a good profit,bl--dy heap!!

Sherwood Trucks Nottingham has just quoted me £200ish +vat+oil for comfortmatic clutch oil change.
More £ than A Morey but much closer to me.
Don't know whether to trundle down to Portsmouth or not ?

Sold it 2 weeks ago! The guy who bought it had an inspection done and it did not throw up any issues. Waiting on our new van in November.
