Fiat base vehicle delays

We ordered a new Ducato based campervan August 2021 for delivery March 2022 then the delivery date was pushed back to September 2022 then again to March / April 2023. After visiting the Motorhome show in Birmingham yesterday doubts were cast even on that date for delivery .
Is there anyone else in a similar situation ?

Ordered Adria Twin July 22 for April 23 delivery, told this week it will now be Feb 24 at best. I was expecting some delay never really believed the April 23 date but to be pushed out almost a whole year is really annoying.

If price protected it will be worth it. 15 months from order to delivery for me. On the positive side it has been the only vehicle I have ever driven off a forecourt that actually increased in value rather than depreciate!

Wow that must be annoying, so much can happen in that time, change of circumstances, yours and family health, financial, house move, etc etc

No wonder a lot swear by used sales, go look, buy, use immediately and enjoy.

Oh dear..... We ordered a Adria Twin (Automatic) at the Birmingham show in October 2022. We were told June/July 2023 for delivery. Going on your experience looks like we may have a long wait. On the plus side we have a guaranteed price. We shall wait and see. It may work in our favour though as we still have our van and will use it this summer then sell privately if the new one doesn't show. We've got a great trade in price for ours with the dealer but we can probably make a bit more on a private sale.
