Favourite tool/device?

At work we have always used a bosch angle finder for setting end plates on to steel rafters. They need to be pretty precise.

A while back bosch tweeked the design and now I hate using it. It rocks about and there's certain bits of it that will catch and produce a false reading.

Bought this on amazon and I love it.

Perfect for the job and much more accurate than I thought it would be.

£12 or so makes it the best thing in my tool bag by far.

What's yours?

It's been mentioned previously and I'm fully aware I'm late to the party for these but I bought a battery screwdriver this morning for fitting some IKEA stuff.

I felt superhuman using it :giggle:

Macallister version, £15 from B&Q.

Yes. Made by Victorinox, contains small knife, scissors, screw driver/nail file, tooth pick, pin, tweezers and pen. Very sharp knife and scissors as to be expected from the Swiss Army Knife people.

So well used the Victorinox label has worn away! Used every day for something. Includes tweezers and toothpick - the only thing it doesn’t have is a pliers - leave those jobs to someone else 😆

In my pocket, Opinel No6 knife. Use it for everything from peeling oranges to cutting toe nails.
In my shed, angle grinder and MIG.
I wish I could cut my toenails with knife.
Take me forever to get down there with a towel to dry my toes! 😢
