Ever stayed on a French Aire?

My angle on it is simple really Municipal aire is run by the local municipality regardless of facillities , and the do's and dont's for that particular site is usually posted on the notice board . Private is as it says ,and again they have their own rules .Municipal campsite is totally different again as they cater for tents and caravans , and run by the local Municipality.:thumb:

FYI, I just uploaded this aire with chrome http://www.frenchaires.com/?p=2718 Because its not affecting everyone it making it harder to discover the problem, I'm sure we'll get there

I have even tried sending the photos to your email link and that came up with another error...I have never had any problems sending photos before???

NO ...JIM......I tried removing the CAPS first...like you asked twice............I then tried copy paste as you had sent it with caps in both had the same message !!!!!????....I will try again today to you and to the French Aires .....I just do not know what is wrong

Still working on a solution, hopefully have it sorted in a day or so. I do appreciate that its frustrating that you want to build the resource and the system is fighting you.

Keith ....you are right.....we have some to put on....Having problems uploading photos... no good without them?.. and well we will be off again to the east side soon mid to south :thumb:

Jim, Yes this morning I have uploaded some ....this happened before then we had the problem!...I will keep trying....all my photos are the same format same size from the same camera..??? oh: from the same photo software sorce ??

Sorry Jim, I'm sure the answer's here somewhere but I'm pushed for time to trawl through.

Is it possible to edit an entry. I'm pretty sure that one of mine has a duff lat/lon, and also I have a couple of piccies I could add.

How do we do it?

Look at top right of page, click your name and all you listings should come up. Then go to Aire you want to change and click Renew (edit as needed) then you finish as you did before.

Click Dashboard and you get the same as clicking your name

However, although I've registered and logged in, I can't seem to add a review of places where we've stayed. Is this possible? I'll be adding some later on, to test that out.

Place A Review ..

write your review then 'submit'

Hi Gerald,

I have sorted the odd problem of comments not being allowed on a couple of aires, you should now be able to leave a comment on all of them.

As for adding photos to someone elses listing, unfortunately, this is not going to be possible. However, some members can be given an editor roll whereby they can edit aires and if they wish add pictures to them. Presently ScotJim and olley have that facility, would you like it too?

Meanwhile please email me any photos with the name of the aire you would like them appended and I will do it.:thumb:

Just wanted to add that height barriers have been put up restricting access for m/h. The good news is another aire has been added just on the outskirts of the town - I'm in the process of adding it to the list
