Eurotunnel is heaving

Was it 'busy' because of the delay? as from first post #3 to getting on train by MisterB #29, was 5 hours?

Guess where we are?

Wasn't going to say we were going till I could put on, guess where we are , but the amount of vans waiting at the tunnel really took me by surprise, and thought I had to share.
Hopefully its all calmed down by the 18 September. We've decide to go down the west coast as far as the Spanish border.
I'm also told there is an Aire in central La Rochelle - we'll give that a try.

The part by the water is full now ,the other part has just one on it. (y)

Thinking of doing that one for Christmas. The Christmas village is supposedly one of the best in Northern France, and the Aire you are on is less than five minutes walk away.

That's a good idea 🤔

I think they need to build an additional tunnel, maybe two.

One to Belgium, up your macron.

One to Spain, for those who don’t like BF/anything other than a millpond.
If we just reposition the UK a bit and put it somewhere between Skiathos and Greece mainland, that would suit us very well🤷🏻‍♂️😆😆😎

Just had a look at Baker Street...looks nice! Will have to try it next time we are there 💖

No definitely not working, it says so on the screen (y)
We typed in all the details, scanned the card then waited for ages to be told 'problem technique, transaction annullé'. Then it died and we couldn't get back in.

Abbeville, new park up for us tonight, about an hour from Calais towards Rouen, so it's on our route.

Very flat, a bit of sporadic road noise at the moment, will report back in the morning ...

We were at the tunnel yesterday, arrived 2 hours early at 3.30pm and got put on the next train, only 2 other Motorhomes there and it was completely dead! What a difference a day makes!

Theres an abacus in the mail ...

To be fair to Eurotunnel, our train was only around 30 odd minutes later than scheduled, we arrived very early (cough, cough, story of my life, more tea vicar? ..)

Glad you have found a good one and very pleased to have met a fellow funster, hope you have a pleasant holiday (y)

Blimey last month there was only me in that car park. Then an Irish van with huge caravan came and that was about it.
Anyway, have a great time chaser
I wish I was back there.
