Europe

That's god info passed by the Pont du Gard a couple of years ago we couldn't belive how it had changed so commercialised now, it was only 20 years ago we last visited.
the french probably say the same about stonhege that used to be some rocks in a field

I find the French generally respond appropriately to the attitudes that they are presented with ...
Coming back from France it took 5 hours to go 30 miles because customs, and police and dock security were on “go slow”. To demonstrate life after “B”. !!
The woman in the ferry ticket booth said “we are showing you how, what you voted for will be !!
Nice...
Jenny and I hadn’t said a word to solicit these attitudes or actions !!
Yes, the majority of all countries citizens are nice friendly folk, BUT, countries DO have opinions and approaches to other countries, often based on history, upbringing etc.
And it is not pleasant when, as a well travelled amiable couple, we are addressed in that unnecessarily aggressive manner.
I guess you had to be there.
We will still Traveller wide eyed and optimistically.. 😜
Mitch.

We will keep moving our booking on the tunnel until we can eventually travel. The only thing that will stop us is Casper. His back end is getting dodgy and getting into the MH is difficult, at 35kg it’s hard work lifting him, also he has cataracts. Now we have sold the French house we can dawdle once over the channel so travelling in short hops will be easier for him.

You're not alone with this problem. Our Jay is a 15-year-old, 3-legged Dalmatian and weighs 32kilos. His back end has now gone more or less completely, but he's still as bright as a button and enjoying his food etc. Graham has to lift him on and off the van. There's no way I could do it, and Graham finds it hard work .
Jay's rabies booster was due tomorrow, but luckily our son has offered to look after him when (if ever?) we go away, so we're not going to bother with the jab.
We did buy one of those ramps a couple of years ago, when he was still fairly mobile, but there was no enticing him to use it.
Good luck with Casper.

I know what I would have said . In fact I'd still be ranting at it now.

I had a ruck last night with two youths, trying to educate them about social distancing after they nearly clipped us on their bikes not wearing masks, 😯 cheeky b@$#@rds said go back to England 🙄 a bit harsh from Moroccans. 😁 Bob.
