This is my Chinese heater and next to it will be a wheel arch water tank it will be skin to skin with each other so the water should get warm take the chill off it
Not hot but warn enug that I am not having a cold whash in the morning and the kettle will warm up a bit faster on the coldest of days

I have a split charge rely between the engine battery and the habitation batteries but am considering putting one between the habitation battery and the diesel heater battery
But don’t know it that will work just to stop the diesel hater dragging down my habitation batteries.

Today I have linked up three batteries together
Fitted the 8mm cable to the diesel heater.
Extended the wiring on the controller as it was a all in one short controller cable
It’s now in the main habitation instead off under the bead.
I now have to fit the new cooke And going to have to make a sink from a very big dog boll as a normal caravan or motor home one is just to big.
Watch this space for sume jigary pockary in enmantruds gally

The heater itself in not the problem (I don't think) as it runs and heats the habitation water on diesel but the fan inside the van does not start to blow despite working okay on EHU!

I've had a look for any fuses and found and checked a couple but they just seem to be for the complete heater system but nothing specific for the diesel fan motor which I'm sure is the same one as the EHU heater and that works okay! Also looked for relays but found none?

It frustrating as it stops me from attending meets and rallies in the winter months, such as Lincoln, where EHU is not available but MIGHT be needed, 😡

I think I will have to bite the bullet and take it to an Eberspacher workshop,! 😱
I posiby could be the mother boarded I have had fan issues with my heaters and it was the mother boarded might not be the case with your

Well the new to me owners decided to take me for a little drive they Sade.
We sett off and went to the boat thing.
He lodes two chairs in the storage hold I thought that’s ok my previous owner had them
So there I am thinking home now.
Gets on the motorway thing he’s miss his corner slip road.
So we go down this thing surly he will go off no then it was the A1
And the next thing I know were at Newcastle surely he’s going to stop soon he must need a wee wee soon.
Then we got to this place called Purday loge
They let the doggy thing our it wee wee.s
On my black think in the back corner off me
He piks up sumthing that came out the doggie thing.
Putting it back in me
Then thay bugger off for half a hour
Come back not a word of whar we’re going I do like to be informed
270 miles I have done today
Were parked up by the seaside
But haven’t go a clue whare till he plugs in the satnavey thing I am going totally in the dark I haven’t ever been this far up north Sumwhare called Scotland.
I only know that because there was a big singe saying welcome to Scotland
In my all my miles on my clock I have never had such bad communication at least my last owners used satnavs.
But I did get my own back a bit I gave him some fuel starvation for the last 50 miles just to keep hime from taking advantage of me
That’s all for now

Well my human has been keeping me busy visiting other humans.
He had little humans in me jumping on the beds and the my seats
My human changed my diesel filter but I had decided before he change it that I was going to be a good van as he plugged in the satnave thing so I could help him find his way.
We went to standrews.
And parked in a spot thay apparently had never parked before.
Anyway my two humans and the doggie thing were not happy when it had been dark for a bit there was this’s really nich car driving arund me making screaming noises with his black rubber things I think he was trying to show off ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I really liked it.
Then my human shed I am going to kill that bad words.
And then he opened the door and sade more bad words to the car I have fallen in love with and
And it went off like he Sade it should do as he was calling the cops because he was all doped up or something the next thing he was gone.
All his other car friends went as well ther was a funny smell coming from the other cars as well.
Grandad as the little humans call him Sade got all that on my Camera as thay we’re living
It was a very quiet night after that.
The humans got up several times during the night the grandad human mumbling on about bloody Prostat then going back in to bead
They Had a breakfast thing and we moved on knowing deep in my injectors that I will never se that car again 💔
So we went off driving stoping lots of times in Anstruther crail Kirkcaldy then back to Leven.
Where we have parked as they call it I would call it abandoned
He’s not even got me right in the middle of the spot.
He’s now in the back off me talking to the other human about tomorrow though this was a holiday.
He’s saying run the hell out of this van before the warentay runs out of my new engine or something
There’s some very nice motorhomes her but I am only interested in kit cars ❤️
The human is off to sleep now
That’s it for now

I was on the red wine :)
I've not long injected a Shiraz myself Bill. I'm pleased to read the engine is running well. Get yourself down the Durham coast on the way home. Seaham has some free (ISH) parking spots and it has the 'Tommy Sculpture' which I'm sure you would appreciate.

We used to park at place called noses point overnight for free but parking has unfortunately changed in the last year so best check. You will usually see a few campers in this carpark who will help with parking for night. It's a nice place Seaham and even if it costs a few quid it's worth it. Quite a few MH people in carparks in that area will help.
