This is my Chinese heater and next to it will be a wheel arch water tank it will be skin to skin with each other so the water should get warm take the chill off it
Not hot but warn enug that I am not having a cold whash in the morning and the kettle will warm up a bit faster on the coldest of days

I have a split charge rely between the engine battery and the habitation batteries but am considering putting one between the habitation battery and the diesel heater battery
But don’t know it that will work just to stop the diesel hater dragging down my habitation batteries.

Today I have linked up three batteries together
Fitted the 8mm cable to the diesel heater.
Extended the wiring on the controller as it was a all in one short controller cable
It’s now in the main habitation instead off under the bead.
I now have to fit the new cooke And going to have to make a sink from a very big dog boll as a normal caravan or motor home one is just to big.
Watch this space for sume jigary pockary in enmantruds gally

The heater itself in not the problem (I don't think) as it runs and heats the habitation water on diesel but the fan inside the van does not start to blow despite working okay on EHU!

I've had a look for any fuses and found and checked a couple but they just seem to be for the complete heater system but nothing specific for the diesel fan motor which I'm sure is the same one as the EHU heater and that works okay! Also looked for relays but found none?

It frustrating as it stops me from attending meets and rallies in the winter months, such as Lincoln, where EHU is not available but MIGHT be needed, 😡

I think I will have to bite the bullet and take it to an Eberspacher workshop,! 😱

Cheers Bill, when it gets warmer/dryer, I'll have a look. 👍
