That’s why the question mark is there, but I think we have seen this kind of intensity before haven’t we?Apart from the usual anti ev hysteria what has this to do with electric cars? No mention in any of the news items, probably more to do with approx 50,000 lts of highly flammable fuels from 1,200 cars all in very close proximity, possibly a burst fuel tank leaked which then caught fire setting more cars alight.
Before we start guessing let's wait and see.
My moneys on an EV starting the fire and more EV’s burning alongside the ICE vehicles. That’s why the question mark is there, but I think we have seen this kind of intensity before haven’t we?
I’ve searched for info, but couldn’t find anything. Is there a linkReports are that it was actually a range rover caused the initial fire.
Rare a Range Rover arriving at a destinationReports are that it was actually a range rover caused the initial fire.
It was going to Glasgow but the owner knew it wouldn’t make it so he flew from Luton insteadRare a Range Rover arriving at a destination
Thats what ev vehicle ‘s do, and very difficult to stop. The spread of the fire seems more like an arson attack, can’t see why the whole floor was alight so quickly otherwise
You have to admit that when they go that they go in spectacular fashion? Seen enough evidence of that in recent years, but you are right, it might be caused by someone vaping insteadSome people are determined to push out bad news about EV's. You may be correct but it's several posts since Wh05apk suggested we wait to see, but still the armchair fire experts push their theory that it was caused by an EV.
It could also have been arson as already stated, and ICE vehicle, a EV charger, someone left a device on charge in a vehicle or any number of alternatives. Please give up this every fire is caused by an EV line?

I remember seeing a Reliant Robin burn out on Southsea sea front once - that was pretty intense, all over in about two minutes . . . .That’s why the question mark is there, but I think we have seen this kind of intensity before haven’t we?
Is this the car that started the London Luton car park fire?
Fire crews spent some 12 hours battling the inferno at the airport's £20million Terminal Car Park 2 after the multi-storey was engulfed by flames and caved in just before 9pm last night.www.dailymail.co.uk
Picture here of the RangeRover believed to have started the fire
Looking at the photo it looks like the vehicle was driving at the time as it doesn't appear to be parked up.likely a diesel car that ignited very shortly after being left
I think you will find that is 8,45 am ,this morning.Floor 3 initially.
Fire out at 8:45 - suggest it wasn't a runaway ev battery fire?
