Well, sat here in my usuall mid week diet dilema, i am dribbling over the festivals vendors site dreaming of what`s to come.

If you read the small print of your booking it says "NO DIETING ALLOWED ON SITE".

We bought some awesome meat. Things we don't get in Tescos. Like Ostrich. And other odd meats which all turned out far better than expected, no fat and full of taste. Proper job pies made by a human.

It's a brilliant meet this, it's got everything, and now Ghosts.

We will be meeting everyone for the first time too, so you will not be the only newbies there. I've already been getting a hard time from some funsters looking forward to meeting you all to give it back!

[HI]Don't forget that funsters can stay a Monday night as a extra at but will have to leave by 11am on Tuesday there will be not toilets or facilities on [/HI]Tuesday., and anyone wanting to arrive a day early can park on the Roudee Car Park for £1.50p from 6pm until 8pm then normal car park charges apply. I would say anyone with large American RV let us know as the width getting in can be quite snug getting into the Race Course.

Steve, don't worry just join in with what is going on, say hello to your next door neighbours, what ever is going on we will do our best to let everyone know, don't be afraid to ask if you are not sure of anything, there are quite a few first time funsters comeing to Chester and there will be a lot going on with the food festival / ghost walk / and the town itself.

Would you like to spend Easter with us at camping a few yards from the centre of Chester? On the racecourse? Of course you would. We had a great time this year and will have a better one next.

We get to spend the whole of Easter chatting, eating and drinking with other funsters, wandering around the great city of Chester, and dipping in and out of the Food and Drink Festival (free entry for us)

It really is a nice way to spend Easter. Shout up here if you want to come this year. It will be restricted to 35 vans or the Pimms bill is horrendous.

It costs just £30 per person for the for whole Easter period, kids are a Tenner

Great to see so many funsters going to this meet..

I have seen people from Sussex to Scotland coming to my adopted county.....


Don't worry if its your first meet, generally funsters are great & friendly people.


Do come out of your van and say a few hellos though, you come to fun, fun doesn't come to you. This is because some may wish to just come and relax and keep them selves to there selves, which is also just fine and what makes fun, so popular,,,, no one banging on your door demanding you take part in something you don't want too.

The only reason so many people are going to this event is because the atmosphere of FUN has led to an ever increasing number of people.

So don't worry about being a newbie, I'm sure you will have great fun and a great time...

An event of great food and drink
Along with cheap camping...

You just can't go wrong.


So well done Carol for firstly finding this event, we can't wait to come back again, especially as its now likely I won't have any work to go too, :thumb:
