East Scotland anything there ?

After few hours in fort william we headed for oban, just before there we found a pub stop over at the wide mouthed frog ! Great food and view of marina , loch and castle, and allowed to wild camp in big carpark.
Tomorrow heading for the ferry onto arran :)

I remember staying in the self catering flats at the wide mouthed frog approx. 30 years ago. Brings back happy memories when the children were so young.

I don't know if it's still the same owners nowadays but many years ago whenever we visited Arran we bought black pudding from the butchers at Blackwaterfoot.

It was delicious.

If you are crossing back to the mainland via Ardrossan there is a good wilding place south along the coast on the harbour at Girvan.

Always a few vans on there. There is a fresh water tap on the side of the toilet block. Lovely sea views across to Ailsa Craig and a good chippy on the road leading to the car park. Nice walk along the prom

From Arran towards mull of kintyre ?
From our stop for the night at Rahzna castle.

Ferry off arran back to mainland tomorrow.
Near the ferry port in Brodick there's a car park behind co-op with nice park and Sandy beach to sides. Car park with wc and old car wash area to side with good drains for grey waste and a water tap. Guy at ferry port said ok to wild here but there are plenty of other places nearby too.
Ferry over booked to Androssa early then spin down coast stopping at a few places then on to c.c Site at new England bay near stranraer.

Anyone play or know how to play bag pipes ?
Once you blow up the bag i assume you just squeeze it under your arm while continuing to blow to keep it going ? Hard work after a while
They make the low droning noise once bags full but the high pitch bit needs squeezing out ? The fingering to make a tune is even harder !
Great fun to play for the beginer, but not sure it is for those listening :D2
