Ducato Windscreen Scuttle Drain Holes

I agree about the gutter. It’s probably overkill.
They are available in Red White and Blue as specials. 😉

Those colours not political are they ?

Count me in as well please Paul.

Cheers!

This will be the final kit complete with hoses.
The items you will need to fit it all is as follows
4mm, 12mm, 15mm. drills
6mm Allen Key
Black Sikaflex/Silicone.
Items that need removing are the panels above the headlights. Headlight removal is optional, but makes the job much easier if they are out. Should be around £25 including p&p. Will you guys let me know if you would use the gutter as it’s not really needed, just thought it might be good idea. 👍. Should have it in the classifieds in a day or so.

Cheers Paul and Chrissy.

Where can I buy this kit please

Put me down for a kit! Having spent nearly 4 grand last year on new engine rebuild, after the glow plugs were rusted in. A bit of after the horse has bolted but may stop from happening again.
Cheers Martin

would this fit an x290?
Similar issues with water getting onto fusebox and rusting that, as well as injectors. I've "bodged" something preventative but a decent fix may be welcome.

Hi
it fits X250 upto the body change in 2014. I was under the impression that the newer models didn’t have issues. My brother has a 2016 body and I haven’t seen any problems with his. Have you got any pictures of where it leaks.

Its the corners from the windscreen, it sort of goes into the corner (NS & OS) but then most of the water goes under/over existing rubber over the fusebox - some have mentioned issues there.
I just used sealant around various bits so most water goes where it is supposed to.
For sure, I check the drain holes run free!

Great idea but too late for us sadly , but i repeat its a great idea

Well this may be the answer for my Burstner Elegance! I have the X250 chassis but my windscreen area is different. It’s high on both the sides but a lower section in the middle. This is where the water sits.

Hi ASR
I can make some to fit that. Do you just need drainage pipes in the central area where it drops down. Do you have any problems on the sides.
