Ducato 10" uconnect navigation system

Hi, our motorhome is based on a 2022 Ducato chassis. The cab comes complete with a 10" screen media player and nav system. Can anyone else who might have similar advise if I can enter vehicle dimensions into the sat nav? I can't find anything under settings and of course there is no hard copy instruction booklet. Thanks

Hi, I finally managed to download the updated map. For me it worked only by inserting the usb drive into the socket BEFORE I turned on the ignition. It took 72 minutes to download. My next question is; where the hell do I enter vehicle dims as I can't see the option anywhere? (using Uconnect 10" screen). Any ideas please?

Thanks. Definitely not seeing that screen on start up. Are you able to advise what version TomTom software you are currently running?

TTNAV.R18.0.1

But it doesn't come 'on startup', it comes after selecting destination and clicking drive.

My latest download is v. 17.0.4, so still behind the latest apparently, bit having checked the Stellantis website I see theu now have a March 24 update for Europe so will have another download and see if that gives me the same startup screen

I've tried twice now and the Uconnect unit comes up with "Device read error" on the USB Media slot, am I doing something wrong or not sent down a file??

Thanks but the vehicle measurements option doesn't show on my latest version TTNAV.R17.0.4. I suspect there is a newer version I need to download.

I See, mine has the next Ver up {photo} and still having trouble updating to the latest Ver

Well that worked great with a £6 USB stick 64GB formatted to FAT32 Maps updated to V2023.12 and will keep an eye out for updates - thanks again to MoHoSam

How did you get on with the engine running requirement to stop the head unit going to sleep mode? How long did it take? Did you do it while traveling?

I was told it would be 35-40 mins but it was 50mins, engine was on while on the driveway

Ouch, I would not want to idle my engine that long.
I think Stellantis have screwed up by not allowing the boot loader to override the sleep mode during update. Sloppy software coding and lack of consumer testing.
I have not bothered to update mine because of this.

I find the best thing is to download on the memory stick and then only insert into system when going away so it does it whilst you drive

Had an unusual one today, downloaded the latest June 2024 software and extracted to USB stick as per previous updates, inserted stick into van USB as previously and it asked do I want to upload new maps (as usual) it started the upload and a few minutes later I could hear a bleeping sound coming from the U Connect head unit, this lasted about 20 mins and then the mapping screen came back on, when I checked the version of the maps it was March 2024 as previously so it didn’t update
Any idea's please MoHoSam?

All sorted now, just downloaded the maps again and unzipped and inserted the USB drive into the van, took 1.5 hours to upload on way to Lincoln this week and now all good with June 2024 mapping

Not checked what version mine is but it does have vehicle size in the settings so fairly recent.
Used it a couple of times and decided it was naff. Been using Mapy via a Android Auto.

It was even longer for my Land Rover Discovery, that’s why I don’t insert the upload into the USB socket until we go on a trip, disadvantage of this of course is we can’t use the Sat Nav, but we just bring the route up on the OH’s IPad

I've read this thread with interest as I have a Consort Reef built on a Fiat Ducato with the 10" system and 'over-the-air' updates.

When I picked up the van last April I was shown how to input the vehicle dimensions and this was something that popped up whenever I used the van. Then in October we were about to head out and the van started to automatically update the firmware on the infotainment system, including the sat nav, and following that there is nowhere to enter the dimensions.

I checked with the guys at Consort to see if they had seen this issue, and they have come back and confirmed it is on the vans they have with both my body shape and the new model vans. I then logged a ticket with Fiat Customer care and after 2 months they came back and said that everything seemed normal with my van but that I should take it into a dealership to be checked. I've now done that and was basically told that if it's now missing then it's probably because it is no longer required (?!!)

I've read on another forum that there are versions of maps for cars and vans, and if you have the car version it doesn't let you input the vehicle dimensions. I haven't found anything else to confirm that though, and got no response when I suggested that as a possible cause to Fiat Customer Care.

I'd be interested to know if anyone else has experienced this. for Fnfo, my system build number is FCA-MY23.T27C.2-PROD and the sat nav application version is TTNAV.T26.6.0
