I do not normally take any notice of what people do on site but have noticed an awful lot of people drag their toilet Casette to the emptying point. Just curious as to why people do not carry them.

Because they weigh around 25kg when full, which is the same as a bag of builder's sand.

I'm a dragger out, carry back person also because we have a sog and use no chemicals generally have plenty of 'social distance' at the dump

When I worked for a builders merchant the bags were 50kg. They were made 25kg to make them easy to carry for manual handling rules and regs. 25kg is pretty light to carry around.
I carry our cassette as even when full it doesn’t really weigh very much. I had to tip it into an IBC at Metal Bridge two days ago so know how high they are. It’s not very difficult.

I know I can easily benchpress 75kg so carrying 25kg is no problem
