When we visited Morocco, like many Funsters we stayed at the "wild" camping area just outside of Tafraoute, in the mountains. With up to 500 units there at any one time, disposing of black (grey was quickly absorbed into the ground) was a bit, ermm, yucky! The local "guardians" pointed everybody to a small area of, basically, swampish ground where you just tipped it in. Surprisingly, and probably due to the dry hot atmosphere, there was little smell although visually it was a bit educational! Then an enterprising local "built" a waste disposal point - which actually just drained into this area anyway - but after the Germans had used it a couple of times it quickly blocked and overflowed.
Last year the local council obviously had had enough of this and built a proper disposal and water supply point complete with a proper "Bourne" unit - coin operated of course, got to get their money back! (If you just wanted to empty your cassette you didn't need to put any money in). However, and probably to enable a proper sewage connection, they built it in the town so it involved at least a half kilometre trip depending on where you pitched. A lot of folk just took their vans, waited in the queue then returned to their pitches. But a lot, including me, just enjoyed a nice stroll taking the cassette for a walk - at least it was downhill!
But it didn't stop a few using the "old" disposal point - and nobody batted an eyelid!
