Yum yum! That place is on my wish list now - love a pud 🍰

Thank you for that sunny view (y) Some yummy food from Rachels is definitely on our wish list when there & love the Baboo ice cream (we had a loyalty card :blusher: ) if we can dodge the West Bay seagulls!
Glad you experienced some Funster friendliness - there's always someone to have a chat to on meets & rallies. If you didn't do the walk in the other direction to Eype beach & Golden Cap too then maybe join us all next year to do it then?
A warning for anyone thinking of the walk to Golden Cap. The return route we took today was just over 8 miles with 2815 ft of climb - the routes up Snowdon are a fair bit less climbing than that. Other routes will be similar. Nice walk and views though.
Edit. Spotted that the climbs up Snowdon are higher than I thought, but it wasn't a great deal less.

We know some Funsters who walk to Golden Cap regularly so thought it was just us being a bit unfit when we walked just part way so that explains it. I did walk up Snowdon in my youth but doing it the easy way with train booked to the summit next year 🚂
Bet you will sleep well tonight!

Message from Dorwyn posted elsewhere "Dorwyn are here, silver tribute 870 pvc, Geoff and Carol!"

Just got home. And just before the heavens opened so great timing.

Thanks Wombles for organising and to the Funsters we chatted to. Great weather too. Lovely scenery, some steep hills to climb and a decent pub nearby. What's not to like?

Well that was a very pleasant few days of chilling out, alcohol abuse and sunburn. Great to say hello to some funsters, even if some do like to torture poor helpless minions :roflmto:

A great site, with attentive staff, well looked after, but yet it didn't feel regimented which seems to be the case with some of these larger sites. As it is on top of the hill, it will catch cooler sea breezes so there can be a chill at times. I'll look forward to returning, but it will be with a windbreak, and a sun hat :sun:

We're still here till tomorrow. It was good to meet some of the funsters here, unfortunately there were a few that I missed.
Happy travels all and hopefully things will settle down before too long (y)

Thank you all for the kind messages & feedback :blusher: I've had good news today that Highlands End have agreed to allow one dog to stay free again on our Meet next year - in what has been a tough time for the leisure industry we think this is a kind offer & an endorsement of how well Funsters have conducted themselves there which was especially important this July (y)
