Does anyone weigh 75kg?

I think it's about as relevant as rods perches and bushels!. I don't see the metric system as foreign just a lot more sensible like decimalisation. There are some measurement systems that aren't metric but make sense the only one I can think of is nautical miles in navigation

Given a choice, I prefer the good old hundredweight (cement bag) unit.

MTPLM just under 89 cwt, payload 13 cwt approx.

I weigh about one and a quarter cwt.

I have been almost the same weight since my late 20's, 12 1/2 st which is 79kg being a Karate instructor for 30 years kept me pretty fit, still o have a 30" waist, my 44" chest has shrunk to 42".
Where did all those years go to?

That's fantastic to be able to say that and well done you on the whole Karate piece.

I've watched Kung Fu Panda twice so I know how hard it is to do well and stay focused.....grasshopper

I'm a tad over but Jen has kindly donated some of her -ve kilos so "we" are OK (y)

Very clever indeed sir - there's nowt in the rules to say that you can't borrow.

I best ensure that Nicky keeps trim in the future because I've got a feeling that I'll need to borrow some of her allowance too, lol.

Nope I'm a fat old boy these days I've put on weight now 76kg:LOL:
Want to loose a few kilos but I like my food.
The boss is only 45kg .

Not wishing to be crude but that's probably just one hard push at the loo and you'll be back to your fighting weight again :giggler:

Getting worse weighed myself this morning 77kg will have to go and have 2 dumps.

Seriously though I do consider myself a bit over weight and would like to loose some. Back to dancing now that should help but not as much going on as pre Covid times.

Not sure about where this 'standard' weight originates in the world of vehicle's but suspect its a legacy from way back when the average person did weigh around 75kg. We had a similar issue while working offshore in that they down rated the number of people to each lifeboat as the 'average' weight of a person was deemed to have increased and so a 50 man boat could no longer 'hold' 50 men.........

That's quite interesting stuff Ian. In the same vein the likes of the aircraft operators must suffer too.

71kg ATM

Was down to 70kg around August before ultra race but then have put a bit back on, life, lacking motivation etc.

Cheers James

Nice one James, regarding the Ultra Race mate, but we just eat pies up here.

I'll race you in a pie eating competition any day.

Average weight in the uk for adults is listed as 84 kg for men and 70 kg for women. However they are also listing average heights for men at 5 ft 9 and women 5 ft 3. Perhaps us funsters are taller than average?:giggle::giggle:
Female and 5ft 10 in and the midget in my family so I am (a lot) further to the right on the average weight bell curve. :)

I don’t usually join in the conversations as I don’t know much about MH. Hubby is about 13 stone and not tall. I am half his weight and even smaller. We look like little and large

That's a Krypton Factor puzzle if ever I've read one - I'm going to read it again tonight over a glass of red and see if I can put some figures to it.

My initial thoughts are 2 and 149 :)

13 over not tall, plus, 6 and a half stone over half of not tall……easy. 🤔

Yes, no, errr yes, perhaps, I'm not sure at all how.

I'm going to work on this one but you've definitely given me some food for thought ::bigsmile:

Is that a subtle attempt at subverting this across to a toilet thread? ;)
:giggle: Mike.

I am the average height-5ft 9inches, but below the average weigh-I have managed to increase my weight by 7kg and no weigh 70kg.

I must be at my fighting weight.
Mainly because I can't run away anymore due to the cubic acreage of arse that slow me down.

Lol 😂 I meant I don’t advise on MH as I don’t know anything about them apart from sitting as a passenger next to hubby. I am half my hubby’s weight. Enjoy your 🍷 if you figure it out let me know

I'm 6'-1'' and 120kg. BUT my BMI is good, the last time I was 75kgs was when I was 15yrs old.
I MUST be big boned

We're on page 4 of this post, so as per usual, can get silly! (Declaration of interest - I'm 72kg)

Maximum weight in a lift is given in kg and number of people, which if you do the maths when waiting to get to your floor, usually is 75kg per person. "What if the lift is full of that number of people, but they're all fatties?" I thought, but then realised the maximum number of people wouldn't fit, so would still within max weight limit!!!!

And when I used to fly, why would I have to pay for excess baggage, when passengers 10kg over my weight paid same as me for their ticket?

Well, in order to stay within my MAM, I don’t do weight, I do mass. I’m a bit more massive than I’d like but I do have “lots” of energy.

In fact I have this much energy: my mass times the square of the speed of light, which is really quite a lot. Enough to bend light in fact :)

What about if they were all really tall, well built people getting in the lift? 🤷‍♂️
I share your thoughts on air passengers, with a twist, I paid for the use of my allocated seat, having an absolute bloater spill over the arm rest into my seating area I find annoying, and intrusive .
Mike.

So off the top of your head ( no looking it up) whats the payload of your motorhome and maximum weight in imperial?
Don’t know I have sold it it was all written down with the paperwork that was passed on to the new owner ☹️
