I think I might have pitched a couple of feet further from the edge Tam, just in case of subsidence. That's how the cove formed in the first place erosion [or earth tremors]
I'm not as close as it would appear in that photo there is a good 6/8 feet between me and the edge

And then the Moroccans empty the bin and throw it over the cliff. 😂🫣
Yeah well that's very likely . But I can't keel all my rubbish till I get back to Spain unfortunately. I put mine in the bin what they do after that is down to them .

There's a lot of bin rakers here though....they must get a lovely surprise when they go through my trash 🤣🤣

Baxk to Spain then,
I've stopped bying fruit and veg from anyone other than a supermarket here , because its better quality and it lasts longer ......and it has price marked on it so I know I'm not paying more for it than the other folk around me.

Spices are the same ....dirt cheap in the supermarket but its pure luck how much the street seller will charge as no prices on anything.

Even the bottle of gas I bought the other day was completely different price from the last one.

Oranges are much the same price as Spain though I've noticed . But not as sweet

Or sell it at the car boot sale 🤭
Aye well if you'd seen a market or boot sale here you'd be surprised how close to the truth that is.

When you come off the ferry you see all these vehicles laden with all sorts of crap , then if you see one of these markets they have all the crap you threw out in the last 20/30 years for sale ....can't say I've ever seen anyone buying it mind you but obviously some do or they'd not bother.

But they must get it from landfills in Spain etc because they can't be buying it surely. Its all fit for the bin , frying pans with the Teflon coating all scratched off etc and old electrical stuff that's probably not worked since 1985.

I think I might have to break a habit though and start buying some bottled water for making coffee and squash etc.. I've not bought bottled water since 2018 but sometimes the water I'm getting here has a taste to it, most of the time it's been fine but the last bottles I filled I think have chlorine in it or something. Ruins my lovely coffee.

I've always gone on the theory if the locals drink it then its fine and I've had no upset stomachs etc. But there's a definite difference from the bottles I filled yesterday to the ones I filled a few days ago

I hope if you get to work on a campsite and somebody dumps their black waste in a plastic bag in the bin you still laugh about it. 🫣

Bought some spices from a lovely display in Marrakesh, they had hardly any flavour, reckon they were produced just to stich up the tourists.

Much better and fresher can be bought in Asian supermarkets at home,
The same goes for spices bought in India, displayed in big, open sacks. If you buy them at home they're in sealed packs, keeping them nice and fresh.
(There have to be some benefits to living within 8 miles of Wolverhampton:unsure:)

Yes phone came with the contract... I've never been payg. Its included in the price of the plan , I always took out a 12 month contract. But in 2021 the upgrade offered was a 24 month contract so I ended it and I'm now just on a rolling monthly sim only plan, I can end it at anytime . Been with ee since 2015 .

So the phone I broke the other day was 3/4 years old Samsung s20....I'm now using my mums old Samsung note 10 which is an OK phone and is like new as she didn't use it much . But I'll buy another Samsung s20 or s21 when I'm back in the UK.
