Got my iPhone X Dec 2017, still original screen, battery etc.
They have stopped updating it now though

Who on here still has the Samsung S9 (which incidentally is newer than the X) anyway enough about phones!

Anyway, were you moving to Tam? Or did you tell him to do one

I sold my Samsung s9 when I upgraded to the s10 . And got most of the money I'd paid for the years contract back by selling it lol. So basically had use of phone plus all calls Internet etc for free.

No point hanging on to them till they're worthless and no longer in use.

New features come out pretty much days after the latest phone hits the market.

The current phone is the first one I've kept for any length of time.

I should also add I have never paid more than £20 a month for a contract phone in my life. And never will.

I too know a few that have, now I class myself as being non tech savvy, but for the life of me after 4 years with a works Samsung I just cannot work the bloody thing, but the iPhone is easy
I would sooner have a Nokia 3310 than the latest android phone!
I have yet to see a google phone though so can’t comment on that!

As an aside working in a quarry there’s a couple of lads with the latest Samsung and when they can’t get a signal of any kind, my old iPhone picks a relatively good signal and can be used
It drives them mad

It’s all personal preference at the end of the day and what and how you use them, but I know I said the Samsung is crap, it probably isn’t, (if you know how to use it) neither is the iPhone

I could never get my head round the works iPhone just hard but android are so easy and intuitive plus you can do what you like with them.

Plus android phones don't come with a broken screen like majority of iPhone I've seen

Yeah I was going to say that lol . But will see , I'm hoping it isn't somewhere all the locals especially the kids and teenagers don't come down to as I'd like a couple of peaceful days .. I also want to sort a few bits on the van as the bumpy roads have loosened things off inside and I've one blind to fix too that has broken strings.

Brakes have been fine , only really a problem on the very steep hills.

But I'm parked parallel to the cliff just incase lol.

I had to park with my door facing away from the cliff because I'm never confident that blu isn't clever enough to stay back from the edge
