Fortunately now Tam think most of the stigma has gone and lots more understanding, one of the big things I did not mention in my previous post is anxiety which can be really bad but being aware of it and the triggers help a lot. You will always get those who dismiss these things and say we never had that just got on with it, but now more people are understanding , things, as with you sharing it all helps others.Adhd itself isn't but often adhd sufferers have other conditions that are classed as mental illnesses , I was offered tests for autism etc when I was younger but I refused as I didn't want the stigma ...I never really used to tell folk till In my 30's
My son however has had the tests and Is on the spectrum
scotzsue sleep deprivation is a awful part of my grandsons symptoms but cannabis oil for that can help a bit.
