Forgive me if I'm wrong but to get the Costco prices don't you have to be a member and pay an annual fee of £33.60 or more.
This afternoon I filled up with Diesel 5 miles from Ludlow in Shropshire at 162.9p per litre - cheaper and no annual fee!

Yes, it’s £26 ish for the annual fee. But it’s at least 20p a litre cheaper than any other garage within 30 miles, great that prices have dropped in Ludlow, but thats a 100 mile round trip….

Reminded me that Crystals on Victoria Road used to have a petrol pump which took a ten bob note. Can’t remember how much petrol you got for that but it was enough for a decent trip into the country!

Shropshire is a strange county!

Diesel in my home town at 2 major garages is around £1.86. 20 miles away in Shrewsbury it is a similar price.

Halfway between, a small independent garage is selling it at £1.75.

Why?
