Dealers tactics

Yep, as I said, I put Autotrail when I meant Adria. As in I find the quality and service around my Autotrail much better than Adria. I did think that I could edit it to read correctly by changing the original post but I could not work out any way of doing that. Must have had a senior moment!
You can edit posts, but only for a short while.

It is like reading about myself on this thread, arguing with these dealers becomes a full time job whilst the dealers treat it like a pain in the derriere. I wish i had had the time to battle a certain dealer in Huddersfield but i sort of let it drift and 13 months later i am still waiting for handover problems to be sorted..i wish you good luck sir

Given how much legal representation normally cost people, I am always dumbfounded by anyone who takes on a solicitor then (sorry to put it this way) stupidly tries to carry on sorting things themselves. what then usually happens is they ruin their own case, if nothing else it gives the impression your not really serious in going the whole way. The only contact I have is with my solicitor once I have engaged them and any time the dealer or company I am suing sends or contacts me they are politely referred back to my solicitor

Spot on. (y) (y)

I would append that with...
'And I don't get uptight and stressed' in the knowledge that the law is the law and the reality of this problem will be decided by it!

As others have said I would choose a solicitor I trusted and let them deal with the correspndance. If the legal route doesn't work theres always direct action afterwards.

Just go to edit on that post and change it ?

I am going to do a revue of Webbs motorhomes, my dealings with them, and the problems I have had. We concluded my issues in a civilised common sense way yesterday and I simply await a payment. I will write the revue drenched in something like self imposed taumatic stress (dickhead) disorder, knackered and in need of a long rest.
There was no need for me (or anyone else for that matter) to feel like this, it has really stressed me out, out of all proportion. Once you are being frustrated, stop, step aside and watch a professional deal with it.

Where was I and my own advice when I needed it ;) .

I hope you get this done soon mate, its bloody awfull at the time

Legal action is always a last resort.
I have sued someone in the past and did it myself through the small claims court. However that only works for small amounts. The money it costs for the price of a motorhome can be eye watering!
As others have said, try everything possible until going the legal route and try not to stress.
I thought I was about to start down a long road with the recent motorhome purchase I have made, however to the dealers credit, they have admitted it was their mistake and booked it in for the cambelt to be done at their cost.
