Another idea - somewhere a UK gas bottle could be taken out and held "in bond" whilst a full Spanish bottle was installed. At the end of the trip the Spanish bottle removed and the UK bottle replaced.

Why doesn't the op just come on here and offer help to anyone around his area, no need for polls or anything else , that's what happens on here.
It would be better if he could give some specific idea of what he can do.
Otherwise just saying around Madrid sort of restricts a lot of advice for the rest of Spain.
He seems to be taking the hump a bit over people saying what he doesn't want to here but we are all here to give and take advice and help without turning it into a business.
What we need is some idea of what he is proposing.

I must admit I don't see the point but we are independant travellers who have travelled all over Europe and done parts of Asia.
Never done a package holiday in our life, it's just natural to us to do our own research and get on with it.

The only service I would use is emergency. I know i'm tight though and see everything as expensive. But it's also nice being independent in a van and doing everything for yourself.

Whatever you're proposing some will like it, hell some even like travelling in groups... I'd hate that.

As an illustration of what this forum cannot provide you for free, consider the following: do you know of many pleasant stopovers, free or not, near Madrid that offer convenient transportation options to the city center?

There is a nice aire a couple of miles outside the city , Here. And another here.

They may or may not meet your needs, may or may not be considered 'pleasant' but either way, please accept the information free of charge

How many would be prepared to pay for advice on routes, sites, stopovers, ferries, Insurance, low emission zones, whatever, compared to how many might be prepared to pay for help and advice in an emergency, say, a breakdown, illness , or accident.

There could be some value in such a service, especially if the people offering the service were fluent in Spanish, . . . . . they would have to be, . . . . . . wouldn't they ?

I struggle to see the market. Google will do all of that for you, plus a few cheap apps. Plus as Razamataz says planning is part of the fun. Then there is the brilliant resource MHF offers. Just ask and you will get loads of advice.

Is it odd to inquire about the legitimacy of conducting surveys on this platform? I haven’t offered any assistance yet; I merely posed a technical question related to this website.

I am genuinely surprised by the many responses that suspect me of proposing to run a business and charging for services.

Would opening such a place be of help to motorhome owners coming to Spain?
This is merely an example, not necessarily something I intend to pursue.

I would urge caution about building a business based around examples like that. The various apps already out there answer most of that and a simple post on here will do the rest. I’m not trying to be negative, but don’t think that will fly as a separate service unfortunately.
