Cold Caller on The Doorstep Asking to Buy Motorhome!

Well we had another “ very Irish “ guy call again today when I was at work . “ I’ve just bought a motorhome off the guy down the road “
If I had been there I would have questions just but it’s clear they are now knocking doors at the end of the “season “ .
I have to admit I will be taking the keys upstairs tonight even on a £25k motorhome 😂

We've decided that we will get the Shadow immobiliser fitted, a Growler and mortises on on the cab, hab and garage doors. And a pi$$ed off, unfed leopard, obv.

What should that cost? (not the leopard)

I paid £540 for Deadlocks on both cab doors, sliding door and back barn doors. Guy came to my house, and took about 3.5 hours to do it.

Don’t forget to get your discount on the Growler. (y)

Cheers Sapper. Are they local to the west or are they National?

He’s a one man band based in Yate, which is a few miles north of Bristol. He’s happy to travel a reasonable distance but I think Kent is a little far.

However, I know Quackers (how do I highlight her name to bring this thread to her attention?) runs a little site near Yate, and the guy works weekends. I believe a member from Worcester used him, and there’s a 5% discount being offered now.

I have photographs of his work I can put here if you’re interested.(y)

Hello have we been summoned?

Just wanted to bring your attention a guy who fits locks. He’s based in Yate, but is happy to travel. However, I’ve been asked by a few members from too far away, so just wanted to highlight if they wanted a few days away, and get the locks fitted, you are in a prime location for people to stay.

Hope you don’t mind? (y)

We have had it multiple times, last time for us, I answered the door not Brenda and I told them to F.. off as I knew what they were trying, the thieving scum. Just then 2 of our dogs smashed into the back of the front door snarling and barking. The Pie Key was off down the drive rapidly and calling me a racist as he ran to the waiting van

It's not a case of IF you will get a visit to case the joint and see what is worth stealing. This is at least the second visit and likely not the last. A good offer for cash? Don't make me laugh, most of it is forged notes, and because you handed over the keys and documents, not insured

Forged £50 notes from Scotland……seen them being used recently.

Or the forged 10 pence pieces from Ireland, can’t be told apart from an original, after they file the edges off of the 50p
